Ballet Jorgen Tickets

This performance has nothing to do with the original ballet by Tchaikovsky. This is a kindergarten on stage! Do not waste your money! I stayed for Act I only… During first 55 minutes the kids ran around the stage (they were not dancing!!!) and pretended to follow the script. The performance was extremely unprofessional. There was no orchestra… the music was recorded. This is an insult to the Canadian culture!

The play was great, our seats were great, the theatre was extremely cold. I would recommend The Nutcracker again, however not at that venue. They should have turned on the heat or advised about the issue before we attended the event.

I was surprised at the story line change in this performance but found it to be enjoyable. Instead of toys there were forest animals. It was well performed. My 5 year old daughter actually sat still and was mesmorized by the dancers on the stage. She loved it! I must admit it didn't feel as Christmasy as the original but it was still a good show.
