  • Barry's Still Got It!

by LHK on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

At 81 yrs old, one has to be impressed by the show put on by Barry Manilow. His voice was still surprisingly good; he was engaging with the audience; and his music continues to stand the test of time. He seems genuinely touched by the incredible fan response, and he did not disappoint with a well balanced set of his hits which had the crowd cheering from beginning to end. It is no surprize that his career has lasted as long as has. He is one of the true remaining singer songwriters, who understands what it means to be an entertainer.

  • Spectacular and timeless celebration of music

by Agra on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Barry Manilow’s concert was an unforgettable, electrifying celebration of music and nostalgia. With his iconic voice sounding as powerful and heartfelt as ever, Barry delivered hit after hit—each one met with roaring applause and joyful sing-alongs. The atmosphere was pure magic, filled with dazzling lights, flawless musicianship, and a crowd completely swept up in the moment. From the emotional depth of “Mandy” to the infectious energy of “Copacabana,” every song felt like a gift. It wasn’t just a concert—it was a spectacular journey through decades of timeless music led by a true showman.

  • Absolutely fantastic!

by Peaches on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Except for the fact that we almost didn't get in because my Ticketmaster app died an hour before the show... "... looks like we made it!"Anthony at the TM box office was able to scan our order number and text me the bar codes so we could get in! Thank you, Anthony. He was wonderful. Besides that, we loved every minute of the concert. The production wasn't over the top--probably was pretty much Barry's Vegas show--and the sound, the big screens on either side of the stage, etc. perfect. The show felt very personal, engaging, and the audience was amazing. A lot of fun--and nostalgia--and great musicianship! Barry Manilow is a legend. An incredible songwriter, singer and performer (and some good humour thrown in). He loves what he does... and he's still got it. And finally, seeing, hearing and experiencing Copa Cabana in the flesh was life changing! I hope everyone who was there had a fantastic time!

It was great. Old music which touches the soul and the heart. It’s unfortunate we don’t have that kind of music anymore!!

At 81 years old Barry Manilow proves himself to be a true Las Vegas style entertainer. Hope this concert is not a farewell.

Barry Manilo was absolutely amazing. I’m so glad we were able to buy tickets and enjoy this amazing show. There was so much excitement in the audience. And Barry seemed to enjoy performing for the audience. If you didn’t go you missed a wonderful show.

  • Phénoménal!

Gréât experience at the show! Accommodating reception by staff who were actually smiling a lot! Overpriced water at 8 $, didn’t help that bartender blamed Barry for it, but I corrected him. Great feeling overall!!

  • Awesome show!

    by fan#70s on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Barry Manilow's show was very engaging and entertaining, sending his fans through a rich memory lane. Barry played most of his classics, sharing his personal story behind the lyrics, which was a nice touch. "This One’s for you,"in particular, connected all the musical dots between Barry's childhood and the great showman he went on to become (I will not spoil things, promise!). I definitely recommend Barry Manilow's show and hopefully he returns to Canada because he's passionate about his music and he's still on top of his game.

  • Barry is Still My Man!!!

by Renay on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Barry Manilow stated at the beginning of the concert that he was first in Toronto in 1980. I was probably at that concert at Maple Leaf Gardens. Barry also said the last time he was in Toronto was in 2011 and I know I was at the concert, along with several others in between. Barry still has his voice. He could hit the high notes and hold on to the last note of a song. Barry still has his moves and knows how to engage with his audience. There were no bells and whistles with this concert, which I liked. Barry sang his music with his amazing orchestra and lively back-up singers/dancers. If I am going to be honest, Barry had one too many facelifts. Nonetheless, he looks great and seemed fit. When the concert was coming to a close, I got sad. I wanted more. I thought of all the songs that Barry didn't sing, e.g. Tryin' to Get the Feeling, New York City Rhythm, Somewhere Down the Road... When the concert ended, I knew that I probably will never see Barry Manilow in concert again unless I go to Las Vegas. Despite my sadness, I realized that Barry was very wise to end his touring days on a high. It was also okay for me to leave the concert wanting more because that meant that Barry did an amazing job. Thank you Barry Manilow for the many years of wonderful music, which will live on forever.

  • Barry Manilow, He's still got it!

by LaurenB on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a talented artist! Barry gave a lengthy concert and was as strong at the end of it as he'd been at the opening. He sang all our favourites with a strong melodic voice and amazing breath control. He appeared to be having a great time and entertained us with his asides. The talented musicians and backup singers were strong, but didn't overwhelm. We enjoyed waving the light sticks handed out and it looked like the heavens were moving to his music in the dark arena. The jumbotron images were clear so even though we were at the other end of the arena, we had a full view of everything Barry did. I'm sorry to see him retire, but wish him a well-deserved rest. clear screen green light sticks

  • Vegas comes to Toronto

by Skeeter on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The experience that Barry provides is very entertaining, to say the least. At first I wondered if he was lip syncing as he was so spot on with his vocals. He pretty well went through the gauntlet of all of his popular and well known songs that he has provided us with over the years, mainly in the 70's. Not that it is a deterrent, but I did notice that Barry did not spend as much time at the piano as I thought he would. There were a few songs, Weekend in New England for example, which generated a standing ovation, where he did, but I would say that he spent more time out in front connecting with the crowd and singing with the accompaniment of his excellent back up band and three singers. Barry definitely connected with the audience in sharing some of his personal experiences from when he was a lot younger to how he came to be the composer that he is. That is where the Vegas like presentation came to mind for me. Again, not that it was bad or a detractor from the show, just not my expectation. The sound was decent as our seating was off to the side so hard to tell what it was like head on. At least our hearing was not ringing hours after the show. Overall a great evening spent with Barry and his band.

  • Barry Manilow - Live in Toronto

by John on 2025-06-03Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My wife kept reminding me that I had not taken her to a Barry Manilow concert since the 80's, so was happy to see his tour was stopping in Toronto May, 2025. The positive - Barry presented us with an excellent show. Band was excellent. Backup singers as well. Barry's stage presence was a good as ever, and he moved and sang very well for someone of his years of show business experience. My wife loved the show ! The negative - when everyone left the stage about 9:15, after the encore, my wife wanted more, but she had to settle for listening to Barry on the cellphone on the way home.
