I have waited for so long to get to see Barry. I tried 2 years ago, bought tickets to his show in Spokane through the fan club and he cancelled a day before I left to see him. However, being that I was going to Vegas for my brother's wedding last month, I KNEW my chance of my dream coming true was inevitable! Barry's show was PHENOMENAL!!!!! I had tickets so close to the stage that when he came out and shook everyone's hands, he grabbed mine!!!! I have so many photos for my memory book now and the only reason I would go back to Las Vegas would be to see Barry again and again and again!!!!
This show is truly spectacular. A perfect show for Las Vegas Strip. Barry is so proud of ths show and I can see why. Go and see it. You won't be disappointed!!!
We had screeching feedback at least 3 if not 4 times. Barry would start to sing a song and we could hardly hear him. Then all of a sudden his voice would boom out of the microphone. At one time he had to turn his head and cough in the middle of a song. They never acknowledged they had any type of technical problems or if Barry had a cold. I was disappointed, I expected top-notch since paying $190.00 for a ticket. I love his songs.
We sat in our seats with great anticipation and 2 minutes before show time an announcement came on the speaker saying "Ladies and Gentlemen due to unforeseen circumstances tonight's performance has been CANCELLED". And everybody got up and left. One poor woman (not me) was sobbing in the bathroom stall. People were in disbelief. According to my research, this has happened several times as of late. So, if you want a sure bet in Vegas it is NOT Barry Manilow!
The concert was amazing. Would suggest it to all of his fans. The Windsor Caesars Casino is a wonderful place to see a concert!
I was so impressed with the show...Barry was so terrific. He sang every song that I loved which made it even more unforgettable. It was as if time stood still hearing his voice. Wow!!!
Barry Manilow performed an outstanding concert. All of his songs were memorable and he performed them with passion. He has amazing stage presence and he sounded exactly the same as he did 35 years ago.
Barry had a great selection of songs but none were enjoyed becased all of the music -and his mike-were TOOOO loud. If the sound had been 1/3 or 1/4 of the soudness, the show would have been great.
An amazing show. Wasn't nearly long enough as there were too many songsleft unsung. Would go to another presentation in a heartbeat.
The show was excellent. 90 minutes of non-stop great Manilow hits!!!!!
The man still knows how to entertain. Truly an enjoyable evening not to be forgotten.
Best show we've got to see yet. Wish it was longer.
Barry was in top form - he sounded great and did a lot of his older songs, as well as the new ones. The huge orchestra in the background was terrific. The only thing that would have made it even better is if the concert had been a little longer. At most it was only about one and a half hours. It was great to see him, though, and I was amazed at how good his voice was.
Nice combination of the old and the new Barry. I like the theme of the new Album, 15 Minutes and especially the song he sang from it called Bring on Tomorrow. The Album could be the basis for a Stage Musical. Amazing background from the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and I liked the Vegas touch at the end with the streamers and paper rushing from the ceiling. Your voice is still strong and wonderful to hear Barry. What a great evening. I would love to hear you sing again someday at The Paris in Vegas!
The Barry Manilow concert on Sunday August 28, 2011 at the Caesar's Windsor was great. There was a full house and everyone had a good time. The atmosphere was party central and Barry put on a wonderful show. W couldn't have asked for more. We would go back to see him without hesitation.
I have been lucky enough to see Barry Manilow twice in the past and I am so glad that I got to see his show on my first trip to Las Vegas! It was such a personal and intimate show while still having all the "wow" that is Manilow. I have been a fan for 36 years (loved him since I was 10 - had the poster on my wall), and I can honestly say that his amazing voice and passion for his music has not changed. Thanks for a wonderful evening, I still am sighing happily when I think of it.
This show was filled with uplifting energy & makes you happy you came to Vegas. All his classics with a smattering of the new. He takes you through his life's journey from the age of 4 years to today. That personal glimpse into his life made this show worth while. Talented back up singers, costume changes, talented band & what can I say~the ever talented MANILOW.
Barry Manilow is a true professional - he knows how to put on an amazing show. He got standing ovations after almost every song! The orchestra was a perfect accompaniment, he played the piano beautifully and personalized many of the songs he sang with history and anecdotes. I would go and see this show again and again!
Barry was great. Second time I have seen him, took different people this time. Great show, audiance loved it, beautiful venue. Worth every penny. Thanks for an evening of great memories Barry.
