    Classic Manilow!!!

by ASK60 on 2018-07-16The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

We had a wonderful time with Barry singing all his hits and a few numbers off his latest Album - New York My Town. Hard to believe he is 75 and still able to hit almost all of the high notes. Great crowd that responded to his efforts to enjoy his unique brand of melodies. Great crowd connection, terrific backup singers and large band. Ticket prices on the high side but BM is an icon to fans of a certain generation and ultimately worth the price of admission Concert lasted an hour and a half with a curtain call and BM also employed a local high school glee club to back him up on Copacabana and another number - a nice touch!!!

    He surprised us!

by Bblondoner on 2018-07-16The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Yes, there was literally a pile of walkers at the side of the stage, which is what I expected. What I did not expect was the amazing show he out on! As a mid fourties male, I didn’t think that it would be my thing, but wow...I was impressed. Really fun. Genius idea to hand out glow sticks, it really got the less mobile moving. Manilow is a class act, I am now a fanilow. TIP: do not vallet park if you plan on leaving right after the show. It will take a long time to get your car since so many people did it.

    Barry Knows How to Entertain!

    by runner1 on 2015-06-01Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Barry came on at 8:25 pm and sang and played his many hits continuously until the concert ended at 10 pm. He had great interaction with the audience and even brought up a lady from the audience onto the stage for a slow dance. Barry sang a song to a Judy Garland video from his new album, My Dream Duets, which features duets with deceased singers. Barry’s voice sounded a bit hoarse at the beginning but once he warmed up, he sounded as great as ever. Opening song was “It’s a Miracle”. The last two songs were “Copacabana” and “Can’t Smile Without You”. There was no encore.

Still an Entertainer even as he ages

by ScouterBigMac on 2015-05-31Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Started off slow and I think it took a couple of songs for the sound board to get it balanced right and for Barry to loosen up his vocal cords, but after that, it was pure nostalgic entertainment.

    by Butterfly4 on 2015-05-29Rogers Arena - Vancouver

He put on an amazing performance. He was there to sing and he delivered. Actually I think he sounds a lot better than he did a few years ago. A performance worth seeing.

Manilow still has a great voice

by Edsel on 2015-05-29Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Barry Manilow has a great stage presence and his voice is still very strong. He does know his audience, particularly when he warned the audience that his lengthy medley would be agonizing for those dragged to the show. It was not at all agonizing but a wonderful mixture of many of his hits. He should be congratulated for his decision to encourage anyone with old musical instruments to donate them so that school children would benefit by learning to play an instrument.

It was more than I expected, he still has it, memories attached to my life throughout the evening, laughed, cried, screamed and danced, awesome. Have waited 10 years for this. Got to share with my fanilow friend, who celebrated her 60th. Thanks for the beautiful songs and memories Barry.

Barry Manilow concert May 26, 2015 Vancouver

by Trico on 2015-05-29Rogers Arena - Vancouver

The Opening act - was too long - aftewards there was 20 minutes delay before Barry Manilow even appreared..that's too long a wait .... The first part of his concet was too overpowered by the orchester so unable to hear him sing... the second part was fabulous....the orchester played just in the background so we could actullay hear him sing...all his old well know tunes..and he did a super personable job..and his voice is stronger than ever... Unfortunately the technicians really slipped up durng the performance as some pictures ..i.e...his duet with Judy Garland and Barry as a young man..which was visualized in the back of the middle stage..was not show on the big screen monitors as usually is the case ..so from we we sat unable to see it at all...too bad.. But all in all - due to Barry himself - his voice and his music..it was a great concert.
