Excellent concert. Thankyou for getting back together. Missed them the last 8 years!

It was a great show, I've seen themboth before and will surley see them again

Go back to Saturday night and hit repeat. I would see this concert over & over again. I hope they come this way again really soon!

I would so recommend any one to see Wide Mouh Mason and Big Sugar. Great show!!!

Had not even heard of Big Sugar. Was invited to go--and was blown away! Very talented musicians! The cabaret format was a surprise--but it worked well.

Openiong act was incredible--Wide Mouth dished out the old favorites but the new tunes were outstanding Big Sugar is Canada's best kept secret--great big sound and the they kept the hits rocking--they arejust the greates--new tunes were as good as my favorites and will soon become my new favorites--great additions on drums and backround vocals

the opening band had 3 members, the guitar sound was amazing! they played for a couple hours and then big sugar came on. 7 members, wow what a sound! I think everyone should see these guys!

The show was awesome! Loved how the two bands played together during each others sets. I have always heard that Big Sugar was great live and now I have to agree! Loved seeing Wide Mouth Mason again!

Big Sugar came through with an amazing show. They opened big and closed big. All Hell For a Basement rolled into O Canada was the ultimate finale! The new material played was great. Would absolutely see them again!

This show was exactly what I expected. The loud heavy guitar playing of Gordie Johnson was awesome! The band in all played great. Loved it! Will definitely see them again if they come back to Vancouver!

This concert was SO much fun. Wide Mouth Mason was awesome and then we got to enjoy them again in seeing Big Sugar! Freakin amazing it was! SO much energy these people have...Always smiling, singing their hearts out, and it shows that they are absolutely LOVING what they do. Colin James made a guest appearance and did a song with them. What a great venue the Commodore Ballroom is! Sat in the balcony area (by choice) with the bar right behind us, very comfy and the show was so long we were thankful to be sitting!! Incredible energy all night long! TOO COOL!

At first glance the concert with Wide Mouth Mason and Big Sugar would seem incestuous. The base player and lead in WMM become the lead and backup in BS. It didn' t matter. If you like loud kickass music this was the concert for you. They were crisp and the timing was good. There were several surprises during the show. (See below). The Commodore is one of my favorite venues to see a show. It is intimate and there is an opportunity to have an adult beverage or two. There is no area to comment on Ticketmaster in this survey so I'll take a chance and do it here. It may be sensored and may not be posted as a result. This is the 3rd concert that my tickets were to be mailed and were not. The convenience fee is getting a little steep as well. That's the end of the rant. It doesn't detract from the fine time we had on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

This concert was unbelievable, Gordie Johnson is an unstoppable machine.

Absolutely better than expected! Rocked the Commodore, so loud but so good. Really love that Gordie plays with Wide Mouth Mason too! Do wish that WMM played Sugarcane though. Extra treat was Colin James, wish he played longer too. Rock on Big Sugar, have a great tour!

Loud and awesome! Can't get much better than this with such a diverse range of players. And Gordie's from my hometown, Medicine Hat, Alberta! So good to see these guys back together again!

Doors at 8:00, opener doesn't even come on until 9:30...and Big Sugar apparently will be playing until "just after 1:30" according to a security guy. Well, sorry....standing for 5 1/2 hours just isn't in the cards for me any more. So, sadly I missed Big Sugar. Pretty sure that will be my last ever visit to The Commodore. Lots of acts I like play there...but at my age standing and having to be there that late (especially if the show happens to be mid-week) just doesn't work anymore. Not to mention being consistently jostled by people coming and going to get drinks, and the fact that people are more interested in having screaming conversations with their friends than paying attention to the music.

Big Sugar was good as always 3rd time seeing them.Opened up with some older stuff wandered through some new and back to old.

First time seeing Wide Mouth Mason or Big Sugar live! Awesome show by both bands. Big Sugar was amazing!!!
