    Disappointing

by Janetbry on 2017-10-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I am a huge Bill Maher fan and I was so looking forward to seeing him live but got very disappointed. If you watch him all the time, there wasn't anything he said that I hadn't heard before. It wasn't worth 100.00 per ticket. He acted like he was stoned, kept touching his face. I like him in a suit & tie. I enjoy his tv show but wouldnt see him without his round table again .

This was my first time seeing Bill live and it was an excellent show. He is just as funny as he is on his show and in other stand-up comedy specials.I love that no one is safe from his humour and he mocks both sides of the political spectrum. I also like his politically incorrect views and how he is very knowledgeable about world events and politics!

We had a great time at Bill Maher. Sometimes the audio was too quiet though.

    Great show

by Smufy on 2016-07-04Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Great show, didn't disappoint in offending the people with sensibilities (hopefully they weren't at the show). Managed to offend most groups equally! Just like his show. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would go again. Wanted to buy merchandise but there wasn't any.

    Adult Show

by Petslave on 2016-07-03Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Just to be sure, this is an adult show, there is coarse language in it but he was hilarious!!! I would highly recommend it. Lucky for him, he lives in interesting times so lots of material on the upcoming US Presidential race.

    Bill Maher was predictable

by Soosa on 2016-06-30Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Mr. Maher is a funny guy, I enjoy his show every week. His stage performance was nothing but a rehash of his show the week before, it was tired. He seemed more amused with himself than the audience did. He missed opportunities to politically include Canada in his show. He needs to know his audience better and do some homework, broaden his scope.

Making you think & laugh at the same time...

by xoxoBarbiexoxo on 2016-06-29Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Great comedian, and solid current material. Anyone who is thinking Donald Trump is a good choice for their next president should go toe to toe with this guy!

    Bill Maher is Brilliant

by sezlennox on 2016-06-29Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Here's a man who uses Comedy for it's real purpose, TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK. Whether you agree with his viewpoint or not is up to you, but he presents it in a manner that causes you to think about it. And isn't that what we're suppose to do? Think about different points of view and make our own determination if we agree or not.

    Bill amazing

by KB1970 on 2016-06-29Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

His overall performance was current and very funny. If you are not aware of US politics you might be a little lost during the first half of his show. Since his last visit he did inform us that he had done his research on Alberta.

    always enjoy his comedy

by paddicakes on 2016-06-29Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

the show was good --- but was to short I was impressed that he did his homework on the city of Calgary and the province --- which he included in his show I think he is a very smart person and aware of current events

    Great stand up

by Cside on 2016-06-28Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Although you have to go to Bill Mahr knowing his main knowledge and stand up routine is about American politics, he is an enjoyable comedy show. To really appreciate it though you do have to know American politics. He does venture min to other areas but the names he throws out are other Americans. Quite a good 1 hour 20 min of laughable patter.

    Bill Maher

by Poco on 2016-06-28Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show started late and ran a short 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Maher attempted Canadian content, without success: He said Alberta is Canada's Texas, and said Canada's Donald Trump is Stephen Harper-- neither are true, therefore neither are funny. The pace of Maher's show was erratic, with few peaks and much rambling-- there were a number of giggles, but not a single gut-laugh! He seemed tired, stoned, or both; there was a perfunctory air about the performance-- it was unsatisfying. Maher is comfortable, yet complacent; he should stick to TV.

    Very funny and topical

by crazee4trains on 2016-06-28Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Bill Maher is very funny and topical. The show was fantastic and the time flew by quickly. It is a show well worth seeing if you like political humor. He definitely doesn't pull any punches. Really a gret show.
