My first Billy Idol concert was in 2003 and he looks and sings as great as he did then. Keep Rockin Billy!!
Slash was awesome, as expected! Myles Kennedy was a GREAT choice of singer to accompany him! The band was pretty good too. I did not care for Billy Idol much and left after a few songs. He didn't open with Mony Mony or White Wedding or any other song I knew for that matter. I'm not a HUGE Billy Idol fan, but I expected a better performance than that. I'm just glad Slash and Myles were the opening act!
I can't say enough about Billy Idol's show on Saturday night! His voice is just as powerful as ever, Steve shredded all night long on the bazillion guitars he brought and the rest of the band rocked! Billy signed autographs all through the show, showed off his amazing body and finished up an awesome night with Mony Mony and White Wedding for his encore!! Love him!!
It was an amazing show. All of the hits were played! The show was well worth the ticket price. The line up for drinks at the intermission was the only bad part.
Slash was great, Billy Idol's performance was fabulous! Lots of energy, fun and entertaining.....
Having Slash open up is pretty risky. When Slash played GnR songs the whole crowd stood up. Not as many people stood for Billy. All in all good show.
well done Billy looked and sounded great slash too
the bands were awesome but the crowd was super lame
We had not been to the Colosseum for a show until this one. The show did not disappoint, in fact, it surpassed our expectations. 4 hours (minus intermission) of high quality rock music. I still can't believe we saw that in Windsor. Slash with Myles Kennedy and the band were awesome! That was a show in itself. Slash has proven that he doesn't nee Axl Rose he is Guns and Roses. We will definitely follow this group. Billy Idol backed with an amazing band did not disappoint. Great show. We felt as though it took until the 3rd song for Billy to really get into his groove but once he was there there was no stopping him. Definitely our money's worth.
I have been waiting 30 years to see Billy Idol and I travelled 2 hours to see him, and he did not dissappoint. He's just so awesome. I wasnt crazy about the venue, and we didn't even sit in our seats, we got as close to front as we could and we rocked with him for 2 hours. He sang all my favs, he looked good, his band was totally awesome, there is nothing bad to say about Billy, he's no 1 in my books.
The Grand Sierra Theatre was an absolute treat as a venue for Billy Idol....It has a max capacity of 1,800 and there are no bad seats in the house. It was General Admission/no assigned seats, so you had to be in line early to get front access! We were seated about 20 feet from the stage in first level booth seating, awesome! Billy's new stage is dynamite, lots of lights & different levels for the boys to "play"on. The show was over with 3 encore tunes, by 11:00pm. They played all the hits, with some lesser known tunes thrown in as well. The sound was impeccable, the band was certainly having a blast, and that all filtered through to the very appreciative audience! One of my favorite concerts ever!!!
