Such a good show great performance and stage presence by all bands
The sound system for the other bands were very distorted, it was hard to hear them from our seats. Billy talent was really clear sound was great
Awesome show. Those guys can rock!!! A high energy show with lots of great performances. Billy Talent is best rock band to come around since 90's grunge bands!!
It was all just amazing the lighting and the knowledge that Billy Talent had about our local hockey teams. I was just impressed with the whole show. I would totally see Billy Talent again and again! So glad i got to see them!! :D :D :D
Dident listen to the first two bands, ran out of certain billy talent sweater sizes. Sum 41 was amazing, billy talent was worth ever dollar spent and every kilometer driven!
Great stage performance! They sound excellent live which is nice. The opening bands were great too. Overall experience was great.
I have seen these guys 4 times now, they are my favorite band and they always put on a kick ass show! Billy Talent rocks!
I still can't believe we got such a great show with 4, yes 4 awesome bands! What made the whole thing so much more enjoyable was not having the stereotypical "opening band" sound as many other concerts do. You could actually hear how good ALL the bands are. All this and a nice reasonable ticket price too. Great value. Great music!
This is the 2nd time I've seen Billy Talent in Saskatoon. They put on a fantastic show again. The cameras and big screens set up were a nice touch so everyone could see what was going on, up close and personal. Fantastic show all around. Indian Handcrafts made me a new fan. I really enjoyed their gritty, rock/blues sound. Hollerado was ok, not really my kind of music. Sum 41 rocked the joint! They put on a great show, interacted with the crowd lots, and played some good old heavy metal. Great job.
Incredible concert! Ben was awesome as was the rest of the band. Would see them again anytime,.,,
The energy from the crowd AND the stage was palpable. Full of energy and heart, there was no doubt they would come out for the encore. Go see Billy Talent live if you have the chance. This was my 2nd BT concert, and I should have gone to the Red Deer show too.
These guys can rock any venue!! extremely glad we went!
They put on an energetic and intense performance. I never sat down from the moment they started playing until they were done, even after some rude neanderthal tapped me on the shoulder and told me I was blocking his view of the stage!!! Who sits at a Billy Talent concert anyway!!! Rock on, Billy Talent!!! I stole a poster off the bulletin board near the Faculty St. Jean, so I can remember it always:)
I had an amazing time, I flew to Edmonton from Yellowknife to see this concert! Great music with some great people!
Fantastic show. I've been a big Billy Talent fan for almost a decade now so maybe I am a little biased. The opening bands were of solid quality. In the past Billy Talent has brought Rise Against, Alexisonfire and Against Me! so this can be expected. I personally really liked Hollerado and a large portion of the crowd was obviously big Sum 41 fans. The stage had a pretty simple but aesthetically pleasing setup. They played an excellent mix of new and old songs.
Sum 41 and Billy Talent killed it. Best concert ive been to hands down. First time I've seen Billy Talent live and it deffinatly will not be the last.
Great show put on by all bands! Billy talent was by far my favorite, I'm not sure u would do a concert at the shaw conference centre again
This was a hell of a show. I have been a core fan of Billy Talent since their first album. They are a true Canadian band through and through, and they represent extreemly well. The band went astray with album II and III, but Dead Silence is a real classic. Like or hate their music, I don't think these guys made a single error in their playing all night, AND the production quality was top notch. They are a world class act, and that is the reason when I saw them here and at Boonstock last year that they pack the place full. It's pretty clear the band has become better musicians. Billy Talent is as raw as ever, but in the drumming and Ian D'sa's playing you hear a lot of devellopment. Ian's soloing is very organic, he doesn't need to shred or melt your face to knock you out with a great solo. His blues and Iron Maiden influence is the first thing you notice. Every note is well thought out. The whole band was great, it sounded like the CD was playing, but not robotic either. The guys sound like a bunch of punk rockers who just happen to have a deep respect for the fundamental classic rock gods, with a leaning towards british heavy metal. I really hope these guys become massive Internationally, make history, and never give up on music. It is totally a matter of personal pride. Much props go out to the other bands too, especially Sum 41 for playing their hearts out.
Although the Shaw conference centre is not one of my favorite venues, as the sound isn't great, Billy Talent rocked the place! And each band member is amazing in this band. I especially love the bass in this music!
The only good part of the evening was Sum 41. Would not recommend Billy Talent in live concert. Every song and performance was the same. Boring and angry.
