Saw ABBA at Maple Leaf Gardens .. this group equals
I have seen this band a number of times and believe me they never disappoint. This time my friend and I actually got to attend a meet and greet that we were randomly chosen for as we walked by the right guy at the right time!! Awesome! A dream come true for me!!! I do however wish we were allowed to take pictures during the show!!
I have always been a fan of ABBA. This concert was a great tribute to ABBA and well done. Most of ABBA's best songs were played. We found the sound level loud but most concerts are. That was a common complaint from anyone I spoke to. I would go and see this concert again. The crowd got right into the music with hand clapping and arm waving.
MY HUSBAND AND I WERE JUST BLOWN AWAY WITH THE SUPERB PERFORMANCE OF BJORN AGAIN!!! A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE BY THE WHOLE GROUP. THEY KEPT US DANCING AND CLAPPING ALL NIGHT LONG-ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS IT HAD TO END!!!!
Bjorn again is just that, almost ABBA , very nice performance.....kept your toes tapping. All we wanted to do was dance...it really got you going!
Bjorn again made a good effort to recreate the feeling of the original group. Unfortunately, the harmony missed by quite a bit, so much so that a couple of the songs were unrecognizable by me and several audience members around me until the song reached the chorus.
It was an electrifying show. I would be very happy to see it again and again whenever it comes back to our area, and I would hope very soon.
I wasn't planning on going back to the 70's and listen to poorly practiced accents. The music was awesome, the dancing could have been a little smoother and not so raw looking. I think more of a cross of modern and classic could have been done. After all that I was still on my feet dancing.
Not too loud, which I liked. Good singers,vocals nice and tight. Music was arranged very nicely, continuous presentation.
Had people up dancing. Amazing to see elderly people toe tapping, swaying to the music, singing along. Very good show.
The concert was great overall ... the song selection was awesome. I thought there was a great resemblance to the real ABBA, which I also enjoyed very much. I liked the way the band included the audience in their "party". The guys were funny and great musicians, the girls were pretty and good singers. I had a great time and would recommend the show to anyone!
Fun and entertaining!! We had a really great time - good music!!
Over-choreographed, show dialogue with the audience was silly, harmonies were shaky.
Fantastic show. Great energy. Very entertaining. Loved the way the group got the audience involved, singing and dancing. 4 very very talented performers, kept the energy high in a exciting and fast moving show.. The best ABBA tribute group ever!!
Tons of energy. I liked that. Relived some old memories and simply had fun. They did a great job of getting the audience involved. We were up and dancing and singing to most of the songs and so were many others. They knew how to handle the audience and did a super play list. Voulez -vous and Money Money gave us a buzz as the whole row danced and sang. For the dollar, Id highly recommend this to my friends.
The band was really good .For a four piece band the sound was really exceptional.I would say the singing was really the highlight .They sound exactly like the originals.It was a blast .The venue was also very good.{Casino Rama}
I remember ABBA in the late 70's as my favorite group. There harmony, musicianship and presence was amazing and always put a smile on my face. I would be singing along with every record and the melody would stick in my brain like glue. Watching "Bjorn Again" brought back a lot of memories and there I was singing along, clapping to the beat and enjoying every minute of this stroll down memory lane. The group looked, dressed, danced and played their parts to perfection. It was almost like watching the original group and for that, I applaud them for a job well done.
The show was late in starting however I was overwhelmed with the presentaion and quality of the show that I seen. I did feel that the singers could of looked a little more like the originial artists and had a few more costume changes. I left the show wanting more, and would definately be back next year if they rebook.
While the show was absolutely fabulous - we found it to be very short. Most concerts are at least 90 minutes this was only 65 minutes in total! We would have enjoyed a lot more!
