Sabbath.... What more can you say?

    by Fraz101 on 2016-02-24FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Truly EPIC event! Seeing Ozzy, Tony and Gezz all together one last time. They still play really tight and Ozzy can still hit it. All the VIP commemorative gear is really cool! Awesome opening, great playlist, I would so go see them again, but with it being "THE END" tour you better get your tickit NOW!

    Was expecting more....

by SPiKEDBAT on 2016-02-24FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Was hoping for at least one new song from album 13. Ozzy sounded off, but that could have just been Ozzy?? Guess you can't expect much from dudes pushing into their 70s. The new drummer was great though..

    Black Sabbath

What an amazing show. Ozzy was a little under the weather and still put on a great show. It was my first time seeing Black Sabbath live, wickedly cool it was. Once Sabbath hit the stage everyone stood up until the end. Loved it!!!!!!!

    The end of Sabbath?

by tomt on 2016-02-24FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Great concert just lost a little off top marks as Ozzy was really struggling with a cold and was reduced to going out of tune at times and asking the audience did he sound ok! The set was full of Sabbath classics opening with Black Sabbath was a surprise as it usually much later in the set. It is still strange to see 3 ageing rockers and a young super energetic drummer. He really does kick life into these old songs and even gave the rest of the band a break with a long drum solo! still its very sad that Bill Ward the original drummer is not with the Aston 4 piece as he had a contract dispute with them it does take a little of the edge away from this being the final tour. Most of the great songs were played Iron man. war pigs, children of the grave and of course the paranoid encore. Would like to have heard never say die and Sabbath bloody Sabbath but it was a great set off to see them one more time in Toronto. I cant believe it was 31 years ago with the late great Ronnie James Dio I first saw the band!!

Saw the show last night, one of the best! So sad it's the last tour. Thanks especially to Ozzy who was awesome even though he was still sick. Such a good show that I think I might go again in August....I don't want it to end!

See them while you still can!

by KickAxe on 2016-02-03MTS Centre - Winnipeg

I had never seen Sabbath in any form not the original lineup or the Ronnie James Dio version. I'm glad I decided to take in "The End". The guys proved they are still able to put on an epic Rock 'N' Roll show. To his credit Ozzie can still belt out the tunes. Considering when you hear him in interviews he can barely string together two understandable words I was impressed. And they didn't overdub any other vocals over top of his, what you heard was all Ozzie which was pretty damn good. Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler were still at the top of their game, they sounded super tight. I was initially a little disappointed that they didn't invite Bill Ward along for the farewell tour, but after watching the drummer they had with them I can see why. That guy was beating the drums like they killed his dog! I can't imagine Ward would have been able to maintain that intensity for an entire show. Still would have been nice to see them all together. To be honest I was equally excited to see the Rival Sons as the opener. I love their sound, they are a real throwback to 70s hard rock. The singer has an amazing set of pipes and the rest of the band was great as well. If you're going to the show make sure you catch them too.

The band was amaxing. Iomi is a god. Ozzy pit in a good effort. A bit flat in places but still had the right rythm and tone. A must see for any one onterested in the origins of heavy music

    Ozzy still has the voice!

by grunker on 2016-02-02MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Had to see these amazing guys together one last time. I have been listening to Sabbath for 35+ years ever since I was a young teen and never grow tired of their music. Sure Ozzy shuffles around the stage now, but his voice is still great after all these years. Tony and Geezer are guitar gods and never miss a chord! Even though the setlist was very similar to their 2014 show, who cares, the music is still timeless! Rival Sons was worth the ticket price on their own! Just a great performance and I would definitely go to another of their shows if they ever return. Put them with Glorious Sons and you have a son-of-a gun show!
