    BARK is worth the bite

by hard to please on 2020-02-24The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Great Show; loved the shout-outs to their family, friends, industry folks in the house and that they have admired -- loved the Rick Danko shout-out (I never knew he was from Turkey Point!). Excellent Sound, Thanks to the LX guys for not blasting the lights into the audience that so many other (lazy) LX guys have trended toward. Looking forward to the next show already.

    Excellent

by Wayne on 2020-02-24The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Excellent all round. The only thing I didn't love was that I couldn't list the tickets to sell, two days before the event. My friend had to cancel, so I wanted to list it for sale, but couldn't. My only choices were to transfer to a friend, sell onsite or eat the ticket, which would have been a shame for me as well as the band, with one less fan in attendance.

BARK was amazing. The “Ticketmaster” experience was not.

by Crazy Horse on 2020-02-24The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Ticketmaster advertised a meal option that I selected as an add on. When I got to the “Side Bar” restaurant they said I needed to make a reservation for the meal option to be honoured and the host tried to turn us away. He said we had to take it up with ticket master. It took the manager getting involved to reach a common sense decision. Beware this option. It was a buzz kill to deal with. Nowhere did it mention the need for independent reservations.

    Great great show!

by Barb on 2020-02-24The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Started on time! House manager went several extra miles to help us with wheelchair seating - thank you Jay again! Our friend will treasure his experience in that front row seat for ages. Sound was excellent, ushers helpful, security personnel exceptional. Just a great evening.

    Good concert

by Gavin Moodie on 2020-02-24The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

This was a good concert. BARK performed tightly good songs with a good variety of arrangements and a good combination of styles. We couldn't always hear the lyrics.

We really enjoyed the fifteen plus songs played especially with the special guests that ere brought out. This was a 2 hour plus non-stop show of great music. The rapport with the audience was outstanding and the ban was very receptive to the audience participation at the end of the show which happened to be the end of this tour.

    BARK and guests

by Anonymous on 2017-11-07National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

Wonderful evening of music. Great venue, super energy by performers, Some muddy sounds and inconsistent levels on the vocal mix, especially Stephen's. Would have liked to have the guests play longer, in fact, the whole show could have gone on forever as there were so many songs I wanted to hear. Well done!

    B.A.R.K. shine at the Commodore!

    by eman8888 on 2017-03-13Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Black & The Rodeo Kings were absolutely amazing and on fire on stage all night! Tom Wilson, Stephen Fearing and Colin Linden were all on Cloud 9 just soaking up the energy from the sold out crowd! Tom's son Thompson kicked things off with a short and satisfying solo acoustic set. Ray Farruiga, Junkhouse's former drummer, joined Thompson on stage for a couple songs using the brushes on his snare. Thompson came out several times during the show to lend back up vocals. The big highlight for me though was when the guys invited Barney Bentall and his son Dustin up on stage as well as former FM band member and Canadian producer extraordinaire Ben Mink to play several songs together! Also saw Ben with Rush a few years ago playing violin on stage for the song Losing It(Signals-1982). Barney and his son Dustin sang a couple of their songs. Ben accompanied them on both mandolin and violin along with Tom, Stephen and Colin as well as Colin's band's stellar rhythm section(John Dymond on bass and Gary Craig on drums)! Barney did one of his big hits from the late 80's "Come Back To Me Baby" that went over extremely well with the receptive crowd! They also did a "kitchen song" in tribute to Rick Danko and Levon Helm of The Band! They all got up right to the front of the stage with an old 1950's style microphone and sang harmony vocals together. It was pure musical bliss! A very memorable and rocking evening of musicians just having fun on stage and a real party for everyone there! If you ever get the chance to see these guys live-DO IT! You will not be disappointed and will leave feeling so good about life!

    Great band

by Buckywc on 2017-02-28Massey Hall - Toronto

The band played well. Opening act Thompson Wilson was a great singer and songwriter. BARK are the closest thing to The Band in 2017.

    Three great troubadours.

by stubblejumpers on 2016-10-05Festival Place - Sherwood Park

A really good show with engaging, almost casual performers who work well off of each other and their audience. The music was really tight, held together by Linden's great guitar work, and yet familiar and comfortable.
