About

blink-182 are one of the biggest mainstream rock crossover bands of the 21st century, sustaining multiple iterations to sell over 50 million albums worldwide and notch two No. 1 albums in two decades. Formed in 1992 by bassist Mark Hoppus, guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Scott Raynor, the pop punk pioneers became staples of their local San Diego scene as well as the Warped Tour circuit before breaking through with their sophomore effort Dude Ranch (1997). The Aquabats drummer Travis Barker took Raynor's place ahead of blink-182’s 1999 breakthrough, Enema of the State, and with this new core lineup, the group earned their first of eight Top 10 albums behind their first Hot 100-charting hits “What's My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.” blink-182’s 2001 follow-up Take Off Your Pants and Jacket debuted atop the Billboard 200, while 2003’s self-titled album revealed a significant artistic shift on singles like “I Miss You,” which would top the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. Following a hiatus, the trio reconvened for 2011’s Neighborhoods before Alkaline Trio singer and guitarist Matt Skiba took over for DeLonge in 2015. 2016’s California became blink-182’s second No. 1 album, featured their first Gold single in over a decade, “Bored to Death,” and went on to score the group’s first Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album in 2017. The core lineup of Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker officially reunited in 2022, and ushered in their album One More Time… in October 2023.

    OH MY GOD!

by leashbeash on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

I have been waiting to see Blink 182 since I was in grade five and first discovered the amazing message behind these three goofy men. Now, at the age of 22 I finally got to see a show that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. i cannot begin to express how kick ass this show was. PS: FREAKIING! FLYING! TRAVIS! That was the best drum solo I've ever seen. Better than Bonham in Moby Dick. Seriously.

I could not believe this is happening

by Peedmapants on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

It was everything that I thought it was. And then more. The humor and attitude of Tom and Mark coupled by their signature voices was just as good as Travis's insane solos. There was no highlight because it was insane all the way through. Tom inserts random words into verses while Mark prances around the stage is truly what the band represents. They still have it!

    Blink 182 in Vancouver, BC

by ginrocks on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

Blink 182 with The All American Rejects in Vancouver - amazing concert! I wish I could go again tonight. All-American Rejects did a great job, playing the best songs off their new album and old favorites. Blink 182 was great! They played all my favorite songs for almost 2 hours and you could tell they were having a great time. -Best Encore Ever!!! Travis Barker “flying drum solo” – he and his drum set lifted off the stage like 30 feet!!!! Great show!

Both Blink & AAR were freakin' AMAZING!

by fireball on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

Tyson Ritter is a bit of a weirdo on stage but puts on an amazing show, and he made that show that much better. I felt that with more crowd support, the All-American Rejects would have been that much better. They were way better than I expected. Blink 182 blew my mind. They were so good and so real. I loved how they just didnt' sit up there and sing, they poked fun at eachother and made you feel like you were sitting around a table with some of your friends listening to them poke fun at eachothers Mom's. Travis you are a drummer god.

Blink was great - chester french was HORRIBLE

by davidandrew on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

Although I did really enjoy blink, there were 3 opening bands, all of which weren't that great... By the time blink started i was already bored with the whole event...

    blink welcome back!

by emster89 on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

Was not a fan of the bands that performed and opened for blink 182 but they did alright until blink came out on the stage and did an absolute amazing performance with lots of colorful stage set up some great humour and of course all around great singing out of all the concerts that I have been to I can definitely say this is definitely one of my top favourites! I came into this concert not knowing what to expect at all and was completely blown away! no band has had the drummer sit on a revolving drum set moving around at all sorts of angles and have a drum session that was such a cool thing to see! I would DEFINITELY see them again if they decide to come back and tour once more!

Its like they never left us

by Nammerz on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

Although All American Rejects performance was horrible, and somehow they butchered their own songs, the show was still salvaged by the amazing performance by Blink 182. Mediocre bands opened, Ill Scarlett took the place of Fall Out Boy, I believe. But all in all Blink 182 was amazing, and they put on a show that I will never forget. Not only did they play some classics, but they added in banter that still showed they were young at heart. Definitely worth it.

Best concert that i've ever been to! Opening acts were amazing and OF COURSE Blink 182 did the best :D I'm so happy, the merchandise was a fair price and this concert was worth it, there's no denying that.

SO glad that they got back together for this reunion tour! It was everything I thought it would be and more! The only down side was Chester French...not sure what they were thinking when they added him to the tour? But overall it was amazing to see them playing together again!!!!!!!!!!

by pirate0r on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - Vancouver

Blink played all their best songs, starting with Dumpweed and finishing with their all time classic Dammit. I'd go again tonight if they did another show here in Vancouver.
