Toronto Blue Jays History

The Toronto Blue Jays, established in 1977, are Canada’s only Major League Baseball team. As part of the American League East Division, they have played their home games at the Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto since the ballpark opened in 1989. The Toronto Blue Jays are the first and only team outside the U.S. to ever win the World Series, a victory achieved just 15 years after their inception.

The Toronto Blue Jays were World Champions in both 1992 and 1993. More recently, the team made playoff appearances in 2015, 2016, 2020, 2022, and 2023. Over the years, the Blue Jays have yielded a number of legendary players, including second baseman Roberto Alomar and first baseman Joe Carter, whose home run clinched the team’s 1993 World Series win. The team’s home of Rogers Centre has developed a reputation as one of the most vibrant locations for a game throughout the MLB.

I actually gotta ball. The players are very kind. It's a nice thing to see out there. Not just about playing. It's also about having fun. But everyone likes winning. No one likes losing, but sometimes you lose.

I’ve always enjoyed sitting in Right Field as I get to watch Springer play, and this time I got a baseball from Springer! So cool to have a souvenir and it was great to have a win. I do miss the old seats though, and the old prices.

What happened to a Jay's game being an affordable day out for the family. You have priced us right out of the park for any kind of decent seat. This is not game seven of the world series.
