BLUE RODEO IN CONCERT:
Canadian roots rock mainstay Blue Rodeo has been sending fans "Head Over Heels" with their country-tinged sound and lighters-in-the-air concerts for more than three decades. The group has won a dozen Juno Awards in their home country, and they've earned a global fanbase with their approachable sound and unforgettable live performances. They've been called one of Canada's best live bands, and it's easy to see why as co-vocalists Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor tag team anthemic favorites like "Lost Together" and "5 Days in May". Fans looking to catch up with with these veteran rockers won't want to miss them any time they perform favorites from their decade-spanning discography on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Blue Rodeo was formed in the early '80s by Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, two Toronto high school buddies who started playing music together after graduating. Following a stint in New York they returned to Canada and put together a band, and in 1985 Blue Rodeo played their first show at The Rivoli in Toronto. After two years of performing and honing their sound, the group released their 1987 debut album Outskirts to a Top 20 spot on the Canadian charts. A steady string of popular singles and albums followed in the late '80s and '90s, including country chart-toppers like "Try" and "Til I Am Myself Again". Their success continued in the '00s with no less than five Top 10 albums on the Canadian Albums Chart and a star on Canada's Walk of Fame. Over the course of 13 albums Blue Rodeo has won a whopping 12 Juno Awards, and they continue to impress with their time-honored sound and undeniable onstage chemistry every time they tour.
Really enjoyed this concert. They sound exactly the same as they always have and these guys may be getting older but they rock like 20 year olds. Couldn’t ask for a better evening ❤️

Blue Rodeo delivered the best music and live experience you could ask for, as always. Massey Hall is my favourite venue to see them at, since the acoustics are amazing. Every member of the band has talent that goes deep, making the event a highlight for the year. Thanks so much for this concert!
Too loud. Distorted. Hard to hear vocals. Psychedelic light show? More like heavy metal than country rock pop.

I’ve seen Blue Rodeo many times, small settings, large settings they never disappoint. I will always go see them! Would love to see a collaboration with other Canadian artist!
Was truly impressed with the turnout. Awesome!! Band's talent is obvious. Only negative I would have is they could have shortened the songs they did and played some more of their more popular tunes.
Seen Blue Rodeo many times and it’s always a memorable experience. This concert is up there with the others. Sounded great and played all their hits. Really enjoyed Greg’s stories about several of the songs origins.

Sound horrible. Best part of the show was the cute back up singer. Absolutely no life in the performance. Light show from the 80s. They had an intermission! Who has intermission when you're playing a show like this. What a great way to hawk more merch. Worst show I've ever seen by a named act. Best two things there were to the right and left of me. To my left my beautiful lady and to my right the exit stairs. I hope I haven't left you wondering what I/we thought of the show. We did have great seats mid floor on the isle. I hope the band didn't go back and high five each other. Oh yea I forgot to mention we left early.. I never leave early.. but on Sunday night I was done, right from the first song, I said the sound is muffled and it just snowballed from there.
Excellent show, thoroughly enjoyed by all 4 members of our party!
