Great show but short! Almost an 1 hour long..

by Soso on 2024-04-11Meridian Hall - Toronto

Great show. Kids will love it and so are the parents. Dancing, story good but short in time. They were wrapping up after 45 mins. Done in an hour. $70 plus $ for an hour. 1.5 hours is fair with an intermission. No intermission. Bluey is popular now so kids loved it. But why are they not in costumes and have people using them like puppets. My 6 year old niece said they are fake, not real bluey. Lots of on stage characters are like that now. You want Kids to believe they are real.

    Bluey's Big Play

by JustWatched on 2024-04-10Meridian Hall - Toronto

my 3 yr old LOVED it and asked if we could go back and watch it again. It's worth the money for such a core family memory. It's roughly 45 mins which seems short but for kids that's a perfect amount of time.

Keepy Uppy game needs better communication

by Keepy Uppy Mom on 2024-04-10Meridian Hall - Toronto

Better communication needed about the Keepy Uppy game at the end of the show happening on the orchestra level only but that the balcony patrons can go down to the orchestra level for the game. This was a major disappointment that could have been avoided if we had known this information in advance. Overall, a wonderfully fun and touching show with magically performed puppetry!!

My daughter had thr BEST time!

by Nathalie on 2024-04-10Meridian Hall - Toronto

Our seats were great, on the lower floor, a bunch of rows back, centre stage. Parents were basically leaning in to their kids sitting next to them so it left a lot of gaps in between heads for my daughter to have a great view. The show was funny, sweet, very true to Bluey, interactive, and vibrant. My daughter didn't mind or pay any notice to the actors moving the characters, she was completely engrossed. We REALLY enjoyed all the bubbles and big jelly balloons being tossed around at the end of the whole show.

by Bluey Fan on 2024-04-10Meridian Hall - Toronto

Engaging for kids Right amount of time Seating excellent Best show I've taken kids to Only complaint is the VIP visit with Bluey was a very long wait - should not have to wait that long when you've had to pay VIP privilege.

    Awesome show with limited ending

by Mira’s mom on 2024-04-10Meridian Hall - Toronto

The show itself was spectacular! The reference to past episodes and audience participation was great. The puppetry was beautiful, too. Up until the show’s closing, I would have given it 6 stars out of 5. At the end, an additional audience interaction was done. But it was only available for people in rows on the main floor, the most expensive seats. For a children’s show, I expect this to be available for the entire audience. For safety reasons, I could understand if the big items thrown out were only available on the main floor. The bubbles could have easily been distributed throughout the entire viewing areas, I think. Admittedly, I don’t know who was responsible for deciding where to put those machines and the consequences considered. The “interactive ending” ending left this momma feeling broken hearted because of the lack of inclusion. For this, it gets 3 stars instead of the highest rating.

Great play, lots of fun 🤩

by Bluey fan on 2024-04-10Meridian Hall - Toronto

The play was really good, lots of fun. The only criticism I had was at the end of the play the large balloons and bubbles were limited to the ground level. Appreciate it may not be appropriate to have the large balloons on balcony’s however the bubble machines could. A lot of very disappointed children at the end.

    Good show, poor equity

by Nina on 2024-04-10Meridian Hall - Toronto

The show itself was wonderful. Engaging, and just as magical and informative as the cartoon. Ticketholders received updates prior to the show that bubbles and balloons would be released after curtain call, which we were looking forward to. Ticketholders on the mezzanine and balcony were not able to participate as the bubbles and balloons were released only at orchestra level. The poor kids had to sit and watch the orchestra level kids play and have fun, while we all filed out. Please ensure that the additional things like there, where I would imagine you could put at least a bubble machine on the upper levels, is accessible to all in the venue.
