bonobo were great, tokimonsta was brilliant, decent venue. good times!

The crowd was incredibly lame. It was hard to ignore so we ended up leaving. I would have preferred a DJ set, with less horn and more on the beat side. Cool Venue tho.

Having listened to this band since 2004, to see them live was a beautiful experience. The harmony of the production amongst the musicians was so creative and soulful. As the female vocalists sung out lyrics that resonate with all people, I could sense she was not just breathing the music but her blood was pumping to it. As the bass rattled my core, my body had shivers with the exquisite melodies of the beautiful magical sounds of Bonobo. This is a band I would definitely see again and recommend even those who are not familiar with their music, to go see.

Bottomline, spectacular. A group of extremely talented musician who can pull it off. I have seen a number of good shows/big names and Bonobo is up there near the top, if not at the top.

simply amazing. for a band that plays more of a mellow and down tempo genre they really got the crowd moving. you can tell they enjoy playing together as a group and a rare occurrence they play a live set as bonobo mostly djs. surpassed any expectations i had and i wish i remembered my camera. until next time.

The venue left something to be desired, but the band was better than could be expected. Bonobo has brought together a very talented group to tour with.

Absolutely amazing. Simon Green has arranged a perfect band to perform this music. Everyone was so tight and the sound was set up perfectly. Probably the best show i've seen in about a year.

Dispite a rough start with some minor technical difficulties, Bonobo and his band of incredible musicians had no problem taking complete control of the crowd. The bouncing, fluttering, soulful music was more than complimented by the beautiful enchanting vocals of the lovely Bajka. Equally as entrancing was the drumming of Jack Baker, who was tight into the grooves and always showing a big smile. The hip surroundings of "Venue" accented the show perfectly. The giant LED backdrop cycling through the tall lettering of "BONOBO" was enough to whip the crowd into a frenzy. All in all, incredible stuff from an incredible band. Well worth the $20 price tag!

Great show. I have seen Bonobo on his own and with a band he put on an incredible show. The Venue is not and ideal place to watch a live show but overall it was a great experience.

Not that much energy and a bit short. Played with the whole band which was cool though.

Fantastic live set. Lots of enjoyment evident in the band on stage and they were feeling the love from the crowd. Inventive set, individual sound, very enjoyable.

Hi Kids, If you weren't at the Bonobo Live show last night, I send you my deepest condolonces. Because it was incredible! Venue (formerly the Plaza club) is an ideal size to evoke the feeling of a big place, with the intimacy of a club. The sound was *perfect* the band was hot and the vocalist didn't miss a note. Even the croud was rocking out (in Vancouver! A Miracle!) I can hardly wait for thier return!

Great atmosphere, great peeps on stage and great audience. I really had an awesome time with my friends. It's a real thrill to see such talented people together playing real music, improvising and making mistakes. The jazzy and groovy feel made us dance during the 1h30 concert. Go for its a winner!
