  • Moment of music

by Valentin on 2022-09-25L'Olympia - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

This was really good. I didn't know what to expect, but all the musicians added a hell lot to the music. Especially the drummer, which was outstanding. I also love your synth solos, they sound GREAT! Unfortunately, Otomo was too loud and it killed the fun for the song. Also, the lights and visuals were always coherent and achieved great wow factor. Globally, wonderful performance, thanks!!

  • sound was bad

by LH on 2022-09-25MTELUS - MontrealRating: 3 out of 5

i was in the back and the sound was terrible. the bass was trembling very loudly and it would take us time to even recognize the songs because it was overshadowing all the other instruments / sounds.

  • Fabulous show but questionable venue

by xxdeeo on 2022-09-25Algonquin Commons Theatre - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

Wow. Bonobo and Nicole put on a show! However the venue was questionable as more than half of the venue were sit down seats. Bonobo being more of an electronic artist where some dancing is often involved made it awkward and dissapointing seeing people sitting down for such a show. Future venue choice should be some place such as Bronson Centre that has a large general admission standing space.

  • Two hours late. Very strange performance as a "warm up".

by Jenny on 2022-09-24Algonquin Commons Theatre - OttawaRating: 2 out of 5

I know that concerts usually don't start in the time mentioned on tickets, however two hours of waiting it's a little bit to much. Very strange choice of a "warm up" that cut out the rests of the "concert mood"

  • Bonobo = Highly Recommend!

by Etienne on 2022-09-23Algonquin Commons Theatre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert and venue were great! It was a bummer that the event didn't start on time, and the headliner wasn't close to the same caliber as Bonobo. It was nice that Bonobo gave this other DJ a shot, but I didn't enjoy her much

  • Bad audio

    by R on 2022-09-23Algonquin Commons Theatre - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

The show was excellent. Bonobo's live band put in the effort and made it a great experience - so I don't have any problems with the band or their music at all. Unfortunately the venue had horrible audio quality - the deep bass sounds were distorted by the soundsystem to the point where it overwhelmed other instruments. It was difficult to listen to and appreciate the music. I will gladly buy tickets to see Bonobo play againduring future tours - but not at the same venue.

  • Bonobo = đŸ”„

by Bob on 2022-09-23Algonquin Commons Theatre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

The opening act was hard to listen to (literally), things weren’t going right. Your heart broke for her and my ears broke a little too. Bonobo was fantastic. The light show that accompanied them was sublime. At times the sound was a little muddled. Too must reverb made the sound feel muddy instead of crisp. We couldn’t hear the other guy playing the bass/guitar at all.

  • Amazing but the mix was a bit off.

by Andrew on 2022-09-23Algonquin Commons Theatre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

I'm so thankful that Bonobo came to our smaller market here in Ottawa. This show was all that I thought it would be and more. The only issue was that the bass was overpowered in the mix and this drowned out some of the more subtle aspects of the music. I don't know if it was a venue problem or not.

  • Great!

It was our first concert after Covid. I was surprised to see that everything was so organized (entrance and checks). It was also the first time that we've been in History. Great place! Bonobo was awesome! Amazing experience! So glad that I had the chance to listen him live.I can't wait for my next concert!
