Active for nearly 40 years, Boston’s combination of hard progressive rock, phenomenal guitar work, and soaring vocals is still as riveting and relevant as ever. In 2013, the acclaimed rockers dropped their sixth studio album – and first since the death of lead singer Brad Delp in 2007 – Life, Love & Hope. Delp sings on a handful of the tracks, while several other vocalists fill out the rest of the album. 2012 saw the band touring for ticket holders across the country, performing fan-favorite songs from their hit-filled back catalogue.
Boston’s self-titled debut album came out in 1976, catapulting the band to stardom with the smash singles “Long Time,” “More Than a Feeling,” and “Peace of Mind,” remaining on the Billboard charts for an astonishing 132 weeks and becoming the best-selling debut album in US history. After opening concerts for Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, and Foghat, Boston charted its own headlining tour and became the first band to play Madison Square Garden in their New York City debut. Their second album Don’t Look Back came out in 1978 and sold over seven million copies, with its title track reaching No. 4 on the charts. Boston’s third album Third Stage came out in 1986, expanding their sound with electronic drum samples, and remained the No. 1 album for four weeks on the strength of top 20 singles “Amanda,” “Can’tcha Say” and “We’re Ready.” 1994’s platinum-selling Walk On followed, as well as 2002’s Corporate America.
Wow sitting just behind the sound board and the music was fantastic!!! So tight and clear it was amazing I have waited since 1978 to see this group and it was worth it. If you love the music dont miss this show
Molson Ampitheatre, June 2014 oustanding! Although mostly replacements, Tom Scholz is there and is something to witness! He is unreal between guitars, pedals, organ, acoustic, and this is all 1 song! The sound was incredible, best sound at a concert that I have ever heard (17 in last 20 months). The set list is great, the guitar playing and vocals are the best. Loud. Proud. Outstanding. Next to Springsteen, this was the best I have been to! Go.. See them. NOW!
These guys are MUSICIANS!! I would like the younger crowd of today to listen and see this band. They would soon know what "Rock Music" is!! I can only think of a few bands, that are still touring, that can deliver like Boston can. I had the pleasure of seeing them the last time they came to Rama and I will see them next time for sure. The vocals are still pure, and the instrumentals.......well....I guess fabulous...might describe it. They played 1.5 hours straight + encores, Almost 2 hours with no break! Thanks for the great show! Keep Rocking!!
I have seen Lynard Skynard,ELO,Bad Company,BachmanTurner,Blue Oyster Cult,Prism,Foreigner,Chilliwack, Loverboy,April Wine, and all this in the last 2 years!I thought I seen and enjoyed the most with Gowan and Styx.Well,this most definate topped it all!They had fun up on stage,and the crowd was as supportive as I have ever seen!I hope to see them again in St.Louis-withKansas,and from Winnipeg,it is a bit of a effort,but to see them again would be worth While!Thanks for a ever lasting memory!

they were awesome! the music was spot on..........and i was worried about the singer not being up to snuff, they were both fantastic. im a long time fan from the 70s and i listen to their cd in my car for 30+ years. i was very please with the show and finally getting to see an old favorite i would go again!

Good stage presence, good show. Liked the background, the lights the movie clips. Loved when they showed yesteryear photos,, the then and now. Really enjoyed the show.. thanks to Casino Rama for having them!!!
I took my daughter to Casinorama for her first time as a Graduation present. Boston was amazing and she and I both had a great time. We kept calling my husband at home to listen in. LOL!

It's been over 15 years since they were in Canada but Boston showed the crowd that they still got it. Starting off the concert playing "Rockin' Roll Band" and the hits kept on coming. Tommy DeCarlo did a great job on vocals. Two hours later it was all done but what a show the boys put on. Looking forward to a new album and possibly a world tour. They did not disappoint and the band is worth seeing if you get a chance.
WE will never forget this concert. From the time they walked on the stage they lit up the hall with the best quality sound ,light and video show we have ever seen or heard. Did I mention TOM SCHOLZ the master on his guitar and keyboard. This show made us feel like we where back in the 70's. We would recomend this show to anyone who loves real classic rock. If tickets where to go on sale for BOSTON tomorrow we would buy them again. Keep up the good work boys.
Fantastic concert.........the vocals and music were superb!! like listening to an album.....Have seen many, many concerts at Rama and this had to be one of the best I've ever seen

Just when I thought - Ok Lets see how this band performs after so many years ! Bhammm ... It was amazing and well worth the wait and the drive too. Tom Scholz is an awesome guitarist, an excellent songwriter and producer. I have never been to a 2 Hour show with no chit chat in between songs, just roll from one song to the next..... I would see them again !
It was great to be sitting there before the concert started watching all the different age groups entering the theatre. What an absolutely amazing concert from start to finish! A must see for any Boston fan out there
Tom and the boys put on a terrific show. Although Brad`s voice was missed on some of the songs, Tommy filled in very nicely. Sound was incredible and the guitar and organ solos topped off a great evening. O Canada on the guitar and the Canada EH t-shirt made the evening even more menorable.
