Boy & Bear Tickets

For their first Canadian tour, Boy and Bear were at the tiny Gateway in Calgary. This small venue has much better sound that you would expect from a place that doubles as a student lounge. It was a treat to see this very popular Australian band playing in such a small venue. Given the strength of this set along with the two exceptional albums so far, I suspect this will be the last time we see the band in such an intimate setting. Catch them whenever you can...you won't be disappointed. NOTE: Boy and Bear do not play encores. All bands should adopt this policy and get rid of this silly tradition.

Boy and Bear were absolutely amazing. My one complaint is that the band started their set at 11pm which I felt was very late. Especially on a thurs night when you have to work the next day!

Overall, it was an awesome show. I hadn't listened to Wildlife before, but for an opening band they were pretty good. They had great energy and good sound. The show started pretty late but Boy & Bear made up for it. They played a fantastic set (17 songs) and a really good mix of old/new stuff from different albums. I thought they sounded even better live. Afterwards they hung around and chatted with fans and they were all very friendly. I would definitely see them again in a heartbeat.

Great! Saw them at a larger venue in Melbourne, and really enjoyed seeing them at a place like the Park Theatre. They sound great live, and were also quite funny/entertaining.

Boy and Bear put on an excellent show at the Park in Winnipeg! I love all of their songs and they are definitely my new favorite band. Great job!

Boy and Bear drove through a blizzard to make it to the show. They are fantastic live and you could tell that they enjoy what they do. I would go again in a heart beat.
