  • Incredible Live Show. A Must See.

by cgyyyc on 2017-12-26MacEwan Hall - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The band sounds even better live than they do on record (and their records are incredible), they go all out with the instrumentals and vocals. There's always something interesting to see, even if you don't know the lyrics to some of the songs, you're captivated by the performance nonetheless. This band truly exceeds expectations and brings an unforgettable night you wish were longer.

  • Brand New knows how to rock it!

    by Rockerski on 2014-09-02Vogue Theatre. - Vancouver BC.Rating: 4 out of 5

Just saw Brand New at the Vogue, with Brancho & Joyce Manor warming us up for the headliner. First up were Brancho, a 5 piece band, 2 chicks & 3 dudes. They had a good set, probably played for about, 30 minutes. Next up were Joyce Manor, a tight trio who played for over 30 minutes. Neither opening band sounded like Brand New, which was appreciated. Brand New came on at 9, wrapping up around 10:30. Interestingly, Brand New does no encore. Once they finished their set the house lights came on & we left. It was cool to look around and see the vast majority of the crowd singing along to all their songs. They have a devoted fan base, with people having travelled from Alberta & Saskatchewan for this gig. The sound and lighting were perfect for the venue, just loud enough. Great value for $50!

  • Amazing show

Show was downgraded from Burton Commings, so the assigned seating was abolished and I ended up second from the front. Unforgettable show.

  • Jesse Lacey and A Canadian Tour

by Roanna on 2012-08-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Brand New was great live! I haven't been a fan for very long, but they were definitely what I expected and they played some of my favourite songs. The crowd was crazy, and they (the band and audience) all had so much energy, which just added to the experience.

Openers An Horse and Cursive were incredible. The lighting for Brand New was fresh and fitting for the band. Great artistic direction in all sense.

  • Brand New - amazing as always

by WillPwr on 2012-08-09The Garrick Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn't as stoked for the opening acts, however, they were pretty good and got you warmed up for Brand New. Also, Jesse Lacey played bass and back-up vox, which was awesome to see. Brand New played about 1/3 of the songs from each of their albums - with more emphasis on TDAGRIM. Their set lasted about an hour and a half and each and every song was amazing. Brand New's showmanship was off the charts and that hour and a half flew by so fast. I would totally go see them again any day!
