  • Wonderful Venue - Especially for Music

by Tracey on 2023-04-18FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Great place to listen to bands, was a fabulous night. There could be more areas open for drinks like before when I went, they had little set ups other than the two bars on main floor and upstairs. The staff there are very friendly, from agents bringing us into the building to the coat check agent, all so nice and accommodating. The sound was awesome in the concert hall, it always is. I haven't been in the downtown area of Hamilton in many years and though we were safe, you had the feeling of not being safe walking from parking lot to the venue.

continuous music and vocals for 2 1/2 hours with a 20 minute break- was worth every penny- sounded the same as the real deal, lol ! loved this show !!

As close as you can get to seeing Pink Floyd. The venue was the perfect setting. Would go see them again in a heart beat.

  • Outstanding!

by Ace on 2023-04-15FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

This band was incredible and reproduced Floyd exceptionally well. I was really impressed with the solo that Eva Avila did on Great Gig in the Sky. She did the solo flawlessly and was incredible. The band had few minor technical issues but I would recommend the to anyone and I’d see them again if they returned to Hamilton.

Took my 13 year old granddaughter and 9 year old grandson, they loved the show got them Brit Floyd T shirts and they wore them proudly to school the next day it was a big hit, fantastic musicianship and light show, I have seen Pink Floyd 3 times so I have something to compare Brit Floyd to and they are on par with the original, great experience and happy we went.

  • 1975

by Ziggy (who doesn't play guitar ) on 2023-04-15FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Great show. Hamilton Place has incredible sound, the light show and music meshed perfectly. Brit Floyd's performance was excellent, better than last time as the sound this time wasn't ear bleedingly loud. They played most songs note for note, fabulous. I prefer the older Floyd lps, thus the second half show I enjoyed more. Echoes would have been a great addition 👍. As one of the 55,000 who saw Pink Floyd's Hamilton show in 1975, I really appreciate a chance to reminisce. If Brit Floyd were playing nearby, I would go; and am looking forward to the next show. ✌Peace ! ☮

Great venue for sound, seen Brit Floyd 4 times, this has to be the best place yet.

  • Good overall. But more focus on sound rather than lighting!

by Frenchman on 2023-04-15FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, show was great. But, I found too many bright lights shining on audience regularly quite troubling. The group used to have a nice balance between quality music and stage setup. However, I’ve noticed over the last number of years, they are placing more emphasis on the light show at the cost of musical performance. I for one, dislike having bright lights flashed onto my face repeatedly over and over. The Musical Box has the right thing going. I think Brit Floyd would be a better show if they shifted their focus away from extreme lighting setups. Love them regardless, I’ll attend less shows or bring my shades.

  • Excellent show one or two little glitches asid.

This was a great event, musically top notch + special effects were incredible. Great energy from the players for close to 3 hours as the explored the depths of the Pink Floyd catalogue. When they are playing again close by, I will be back with a large group of friends. Thanks for a great night of entertainment...

  • Brit Floyd in Hamilton

An amazing group of musicians bringing the Pink Floyd songbook to life

  • Excellent concert!

by David on 2023-04-15FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Brit Floyd has got to be one of the best musical bands touring. And not just for playing Pink Floyd songs. The musicianship is second to none. Darrian Darlington’s guitar work has all the feeling and perfect tone, capturing the essence of David Gilmour precisely. The set list was varied and unpredictable. At our show there were standing ovations after several songs. The concert sound was mixed perfectly and the visual effects were stunning. I would see the show again if it comes back to my neck of the woods. A must see!

  • Best Experience Ever

Gotta be honest, it was a once in a lifetime experience. If you enjoy pink floyd, get their current tour tickets and go for one of the shows. You wont regret it

  • Second half better than first.

by Greg on 2023-04-15FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Too many obscure song choices in first half of show. Second half rocked, especially Us and Them and a fantastic Comfortably Numb. Left Mother and Hey You out of setlist all together.......Why? Still a must see for Floyd fans.

  • Great show…. As usual!!

Every time I see this band they are more and more refined. Keep it up! Ava Avila was in top form for “ the Great Gig in the Sky.
