  • A roller coaster show .

by Randy Connolly on 2025-10-27Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 4 out of 5

This is our second attempt to meet the band and had vip passes for the second time. First attempt was a las Vegas show and it had got canceled when we were on the plane flying there . The halifax show was an amazing one with vip passes and first row middle of the stage seats . The back stage pass was not used as the ushers had no clue where we go . The fist band played when they finally said to go to the back corner . Well they wouldn't let us in as the one usher said it was to late . We were broken hearted and my wife and I cried 💔. We were promised special vip swag which we never did receive. Band sounded amazing tho . Heres hoping will get to see them again.

  • Lynryd Skynyrd 27 years later..

by Barbie on 2025-09-28Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 5 out of 5

27 years ago I saw Lynryd Skynyrd perform outside at Magnectic Hill Moncton NB. I was 8.5 months pregnant in a wheel chair and the very 1st person on the grounds that day 12 noon in one of the hottest days in July. Just after 9 pm 4 security guards picked up the 4 corners of my wheelchair lifted me up over their heads and carried me out across the front of the stage so everyone in the crowd saw right as Sweet Home Alabama was performed. I was not happy but understood it was necessary for my safety. I was saying I waited all day to hear this song and NOW you are taking me out. 15 days later I gave birth to a beautiful little boy named Jacob ( Jake ). Even though his dad and I are no longer together it's that song !! Recently Jake picked me up in a car that his dad and I went splits on him for and as I got in Sweet Home Alabama was playing on the radio. I told my son that's his dad's favorite song. He said "I know Mom he still plays it all the time.: The song Sweet Home Alabama forever connects my son and his Mom & Dad. So I told myself if I ever got a chance to see them again live I would absolutely going to be there. The recent concert at the Scotia bank center was a fabulous show. They sounded great , kept the crowd thoroughly engaged and waved the American and Canadian Flags in unison. That added touch made the whole night very special show casing that no matter what is dividing countries right now like the divide between US and Canada that music will always unite us as one !!!!!

They had a fantastic performance!! Loved the inclusion of the original members and those who perished in the wreck!! I’m sure they made Ronnie proud!! It was also nice to see the guys recognize the relationship between Canada and US!

  • Possibly the best concert I've ever attended!!

The band was tight, the music was clean. Excellent light show. The simulcast on the big screen was definitely a bonus....video/pictures of the old band was well appreciated 👏 All the songs sounded just like old days....absolutely fantastic....5 stars....10 out of 10.....and FREE BIRD was worth the price of admission alone....will never forget the experience....well done guys

  • Great performance however

The band was awesome but the sound could have been better I’ve been to a lot of concerts in my life and mostly it comes down to the sound and it’s hit or miss This particular concert was a miss in the sound department No detail in the mix Sounded like they just turned everything to 10 Every musician should be heard clearly

  • Hard rockin

by John on 2025-09-27Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing show, lots of energy. Lynyrd Skynyrd was rocking it hard, and the opening act The Outlaws was a perfect match for this fantastic show.
