  • Happy New Years!

by Marley on 2022-12-25History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome venue, nice a big with a great floor. And as usual, Broken Social Scene played their hearts out and it their all. BSS is consistently the best shows i go to.

  • Bad sound mixing

by JBW on 2022-12-20History - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

The sound mixing wasn’t balanced properly. The booth didn’t have the vocal Mic’s balanced properly over the guitars. Muffled the vocals.

  • Band was great but

by Daz on 2022-09-27Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

The band was amazing but some of the bar staff were a bit rude if you didn’t tip enough.

  • Amazing amazing amazing!

    by Nettie76 on 2018-05-28Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing show! Broken Social Scene is just mind blowing. So much talent on stage, mixing about like a delicious smoothie. This was the 3rd time I have seen them live and will not miss a show if its up to me! Portugal. The Man. was beyond kick ass. They are a force to be reckoned with. Improving the world one song at a time. I can listen all day all life long, its memorizing and makes your spirit leave your body.

Music was so. Surprised how expensive the food and drink vendors were and super expensive parking.

  • Not the best venue for this

by Junite on 2018-05-27Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Love the venue but not good for these bands. Portugal the man was underwhelming

I didn't know what to expect from the venue, but the sound was solid. The show, in general had a great, laid back vibe, and the band was spot on. Great show.

  • So AMAZING BSS!

by dcfcfan on 2011-09-26Malkin Bowl - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I was scared it was going to rain. But it didn't! Being outside in the Malkin bowl in the middle of september, I thought it would. Anyways, Broken Social Scene were so professional with coming on stage on time and everything. I loved their little quips about their own lives because it was kind of sarcastic but in a very joking manner that made the audience feel like they really got to know them as a band and not just as a band performing on stage. I loved how Lisa floated on and off stage, she really tied the whole band together.

Was the second time I've seen BSS in as many months. Both times were incredible but I think the setlist was a little better this time around. Pure wall of sound from start to finish.
