    Bruno Mars was absolutely fantastic!!!

by schulzc on 2011-05-31The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Bruno Mars knows how to put on a show. He was very comical and entertaining. I will definitely go see him again when he comes back to Windsor. My only issue was that it was an all ages concert. We had a little girl screaming into my boyfriends ear which made us want to leave as soon as it was done. I'm pretty sure some of the lyrics are not meant for 11 year old children. Other than that, it was fabulous.

Bruno Mars puts on a GENIUS performance!!!

by IGotTheMusicInMe on 2011-05-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Bruno and the band were ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. Very entertaining show! I'd love to see him over and over again! On the other hand, Janelle Monae sucked BIG TIME. I would not recommend seeing her act EVER. All she did was scream through the entire set! We had to get up and walk out of the theatre because the volume of her distorted screaming was unbearable.

    Bruno Mars was the BEST

by BRUNOFAN on 2011-05-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

When Bruno came on stage, he was well worth the wait. We are forever fans. He was charismatic, funny, easy-going, and he had all the girls' hearts beating with "I think I wanna marry you." He had the audience out of their seats...clapping, singing, and dancing. He is a seasoned professional, and it was very evident in his comfort on stage. And cute, too! He promised he would be back to Windsor to play another show. We would definately go to see Bruno Mars again. SUPER SUPER!!!!!!

    Bruno Mars saves the night!

by kitty5 on 2011-05-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The two opening acts - Patrick Stump and Janelle Monae were hardly unforgettable but not for good reasons. Neither artist spoke to the audience or attempted to get us involved but seemed rather caught up in their own moment. But the moments went on and on and on. Janelle's performace for the most part was made up of ultra-long, way overdone and over-the-top songs that eventually bored you rather than held your attention. Maybe that's why she screamed a couple of times. Without a doubt, Janelle is extremely talented. She just needs to tone it down and shorten the songs. Bruno Mars saved the night with an outstanding performance! My "amazing" rating is for him alone. Greater than my expectations!

Janelle and Bruno rocked the house!

by bauhaual on 2011-05-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

I thought the concert itself was GREAT. It was my first concert at Caesars Windsor and it certainly did not disappoint. My only criticism would be that i think there should have been more than 1 merchandise table. And i think they should have taken either debit or credit. Not just cash.

    Good but not spectacular.

The sound and the voices of Bruno and Janelle were excellent, however there was not much excitement throughout the show.

    bruno mars at caesars windsor

by beckalefebvre on 2011-05-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

This was an amazing show. It was very entertaining. The performers definitely knew how to put on a show . Bruno was funny and very talented. My seats were annoying to buy because they were the best I could get and were still payback yet o bought them in presales . That was the only negative part. I was willing to pay top dollar. But I still lived the show and had an amazing time.

    5 Star Janelle / 2 Star Bruno

by paddywhack on 2011-05-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

On a beautiful Long Weekend in the Canadian bordertown of Windsor the Holigans in Wonderland tour arrived. Billed as a co-headlining show between Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars, it would be a tale of two very different performances. First up was Janelle, and judging from the crowd gathered there weren't very many there to see her. But if they didn't know who she was before they came, they defenitly knew who she was by the time she lef tthe stage. Her performance was nothing short of phenominal, the energy, enthusiasm and pure artisitic guile exuded from the moment the first beat dropped. Janelle launched into the first three songs on her second release The ArchAndroid and was at least 15 minutes into the show before she took a break to catch her breath. THere was Hip Hop, there was Rock, there was Opera, there was Pop, even a little painitng in between. Janelle blew the roof off with her final song "Come Alive" War of the Roses, dancing through the crowd, getting the crowd to Lalala along, dropping to the floor and then bringing it back up. I was left breathless and knew Bruno had a hard act to follow. The excitment built for Bruno, as the crowd of tweens and teens were there to see the man. Having been in the music business for so long and with a long string of songwriting credits there was much to be excited about. THe curtain opened, the intro was intense and Bruno Launced into the Other Side, minus Ce-Lo green. The Tweens and Teens went nuts. Bruno played to their emotions, and turned the Auditiorium into a New Kids on the Block homage. Playing for the ladies, singing to the ladies and complementing the ladies in the audience. A complete let down to what had ensued earlier. Don't get me wrong Bruno sounded and looked great, but he spread on the cheese factor pretty thick. It was nice to see him mix up some of his songs, and his ear for some bad sounding rhythms when his band kicked in on Count on Me showed his attention to detail is not lacking. I was just hoping for a little less cheese and bit more of a performance. In summary if you want to be entertained no matter what age you are go see Janelle, if you want to be entertained and are female between the ages of 12-17 then go see Bruno.

    Bruno Mars was unbelievable!

by Martini484 on 2011-05-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Although he only performed for an hour, Bruno Mars was definitely worth the trip to see. His vocals were incredible and he was very funny, personal and humble. I would definitely go back to see him perform any day. I would've liked him to perform longer though.

    Kiss 92.5 Haus Party

Overall the concert was great, all acts were fantastic but just one complaint.... this should not have been an all ages event (that is what Canada's Wonderland is for).

Bruno Mars was AMAZING!! The rest....ehh

    by musicfan14 on 2010-11-16Kool Haus - Toronto

It was a sold-out show, the crowd went crazy for Bruno Mars! We waited almost 4 hours before Bruno Mars went on stage, which was at 10pm. Before that, there were about 5 performers and in between every performance, there was about 10-15 min of DJ Climax just mixing some music. Waiting was fine in the beginning, but after a while, it was just so crazy. Standing for that long and being subjected to listening to some pretty awful opening performers was making the time seem longer than it already was and the crowd really just wanted Bruno Mars. I would have enjoyed this better if some performances were cut (eg. there were these two really bad rappers from thunder bay). In that way, it would've been nice in Bruno Mars could have had a longer time to perform. He only performed in an hour, but in that hour he really made it worthwhile. He sang a couple of his own remixes on his hits and some new songs, as well as some covers. If it is even possible, he sounds BETTER than he does on the radio. The crowd went crazy and you could definitely feel after the concert was over, people were awed at how great his performance was. I would love to see him in his full concert!! I just wished he performed longer!!

    by teresa1 on 2010-11-15Kool Haus - Toronto

The Haus Party was quiete an experience being 40+ my husband and I took our kids ages 16, 14.and 12 . We all had a great time. The only thing wrong was the standing for 5 hours but it was all worth it when Bruno Mars came out he was amazing.

It was a good show. There were a lot of great performers but too much in between time. Ended spending half the time waiting for the next performer to get on stage. Also, Bruno Mars wasn't on stage for very long. Probably 40 minutes max. Stood for more than four hours for that. For some people, it may or may not be worth it.

The wait in between performers was horrible! The show could have been organized better with respect to timing. Overall the last 3 performers were great.
