We really enjoyed the Haus Party concert on Saturday night. All the acts were great (ok maybe not the rap twins, they need a bit more polish!) and it was nice to see performers early on in their careers when they are humble! I don't agree with the all ages thing though, bringing a 5 year old, yes there were a few in the crowd, is crazy.
Was absolutely thrilled/amazed with the talent/energy of Bruno Mars. He was having a fun time on stage and his joy carried the music/crowd to a higher level. Only sorry that I did not order more tickets for my younger sons/niece (did not realize that the venue was an all-ages club). PS. If ever a movie about Michael Jackson is made Bruno should be considered for the role. His talent/persona would shine in this project.
Bruno Mars is AMAZING live. He definitely puts on a great show. As for all the other acts, they were completely forgettable and unnecessary. Aleesia was terrible - extremely amateurish, as were Burnz n Hell. JRDN and Danny Fernandez faired better, but paled in comparison to Bruno Mars' stage presence. If I have one recommendation it would be to ditch the opening acts (4 hours worth) and extend Bruno Mars' set (he only played 6-7 songs).
