My husband and I can't think of anybody else better to go see as an acoustic type of concert or "unplugged" as we like to say it. Brian Adams was great!
I thoroughly enjoyed Bryan Adams' solo-acoustic set last night at the NAC. I have seen him many times over the past 20+ years but always with a band. This was a great opportunity to hear many of his great songs in a different format. Bryan was chatty and told many fun stories - this is also a side of him I have never seen in other shows. Over 2 hours of hits! Full band or solo, Bryan always delivers a great evening of entertainment.
He's so down to earth. He has an amasing voice, just knows how to put on a show!!! This is my fourh time seeing Bryan and i would go again for sure!!!!
I'm an all-time Bryan Adams fan. This was my fourth concert in 25 years, and the best I've seen of all concerts of all artists. When an artist chooses an acoustic performance, you cannot ask for anything more. Bryan sent me down memory lane with his great ballads. It's like I was rediscovering his songs all over again. I have never seen a show in Ottawa so energized. The crowd was on fire, and also hypnotized by the melodies that had us dream, cry, laugh, and smile over the past 30 years. Thank you, Bryan, you were amazing.
Brian is a special performer who makes the audience all feel like long time friends. He has a gift of natural rapore that surpasses the value of any band. Not many artists can fill 2 1/2 hours without a break, but this talent delivers & he really seemed to enjoy the process.
Loved it! Bryan Adams is a true entertainer. With only a guitar, piano and his amazing voice he was able to keep the crowd on their feet! Nice to see a concert upclose and personal.
We had a great time singing along. Very nice to hear all the words of his songs, not overwhelmed with background music.
I really enjoy the show, I have seen Bryan Adams perform for many years from opening the Pallidium in Ottawa to a many concerts at Scotiabank, Bluesfest and even one at the Bob Guertin arena in Gatineau. This was a great show. His accoustic show is quite different and very enjoyable. He is able to turn his songs into great 1 man show (well he actually had a good piano player with him on many of the songs) but the simplicity of the show, the great ballads and his great interaction with his audience, made this a show that you should not have missed if you are Bryan fan. We love him in Ottawa and I can't wait for his return.
This was an excellent accoustic show with Bryan Adams. He is a down to earth person and a superb artist. I have seen Bryan in concert with a band and it was excellent, but he is also wonderful with his guitar and a pianist. It's up close and personal. Unforgettable. Thanks Bryan
It was like Bryan was jammin with his friends. I think he enjoyed himself as much as we all did. I have never seen people at the NAC stand up during a performance before (as much as I'm dying to!!) and we did so several times. He brought along some old friends and played some old classics as well as some new ones. A "night to remember".
One one word can describe the show in Ottawa, AWSOME. Thank you Bryan, you're the best. We recommend this show to all.
The NAC Acoustic performance was an amazing intimate way to get your Bryan Adams Fix. I loved it, as did just everyone around me. Sound was terrific. I've never been disappointed at a Bryan Adams concert. He has a way of drawing you in. My only complaint is that is passed all too quickly. The 2 1/2 hour concert flew by.
I have seen Bryan 7 times now and wow. We saw Bryan last night I Ottawa and it was amazing. It was great. In such a small venue with folks who really enjoy his music. We were on our feet all night. He even had Prime minister Steven Harper on his feet. I was a great show and I highly recommend it to all who love his music. He really connects to the audience.
A night to remember for the summer of 2009. Amazing unplugged show. Bryan does not need a band to put on a great show.
It doesn't get any better than last night's performance! Bryan Adams put on an unforgettable show...again. His voice is still absolutely amazing after 30 odd years, he just seems to get better! He had a great rapport with the audience, joking and telling stories. He seems to genuinely love his time on stage and loves to see the audience get into his music. I didn't realize beforehand that the show was an accoustic one, it's the first time I've seen him without the whole band. But I was not disappointed! I was mezmerised from beginning to end! I've always said since the first time I saw Bryan that he puts on the best show of any performer I've ever seen, and I've seen many, many concerts in the past 40 years! Bryan Adams always gives 100% and doesn't put the guitar down until everyone is satisfied!
Wow! Brian Adams just gets better with age! Fantastic performance!
Bryan is Bryan. Amazing, talented, generous with his public.
