Buffalo Bills Team History
The Buffalo Bills became the seventh team to join the American Football League when Ralph C. Wilson was awarded the franchise in 1959. In 1964 and 1965, the Bills won the AFC Championship, and then-Head Coach Lou Saban was named AFL Coach of the Year for both seasons. After Marv Levy took over as Head Coach in 1986, the Bills won five AFC championships and made four consecutive Super Bowl appearances from 1990–1993. To date, the Bills are the only team to play in four consecutive Super Bowl games.
Since hiring Head Coach Sean McDermott in January 2017, the Bills have made six playoff appearances. In 2022, the Bills made playoff history in a game against the Patriots when they became the first team in the Super Bowl era to score a touchdown on each of its first seven drives of a playoff game.

Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium
Since opening in 1973, Highmark Stadium, located in Orchard Park, New York, has been the home to the Buffalo Bills. The stadium underwent several name changes; known as Ralph Wilson Stadium from 1998 to 2015, it was renamed New Era Field in 2016, then Bills Stadium in 2020. Following a new naming rights deal in 2021, its official name is now Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Stadium.
A visit to Highmark Stadium for a Buffalo Bills game is sure to be a loud and high-energy experience, as the team’s fanbase, the Bills Mafia, is arguably the most loyal in the NFL. The group got its start in November 2010 following the upset from a dropped pass by receiver Stevie Johnson that could have resulted in a game-winning touchdown. The hashtag #BillsMafia caught wind on Twitter, and since then the group has been known for their tailgating antics and game-day attire and energy.

Had a great time at the game! Seats we’re really good although, I wish signs were prohibited. The man in front of me was very tall and held a sign up for practically the whole game which really impaired my view. It’s a shame when you pay so much for tickets just to see the back of a sign.
When they talk about this game years from now, I can say I was there! Went with my daughter, my nephew and his friend (all in their early 20s). My nephew's friend is a young lady who is visiting from Australia, where it's summer right now. A week ago, she was in sun and 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit) weather. She had never seen snow and was excited to be going to her first NFL game and that it might snow. She couldn't wait to make snowballs and snow angels. When we left Niagara Falls, Ontario there was barely any snow. Even arriving at the stadium, not much snow. By the end of the first quarter, in blizzard conditions, her only words were - I HATE SNOW. But with some hot chocolate, a beer and stomping her feet a few thousand times - she was loving it. The Bills have a new fan in Australia! The weather was all anyone was talking about the next day - and to get a Bills overtime win was the best. I wasn't feeling too good when it looked like we lost the game with the 2 point conversion at the end. To go there and put up with the weather and lose would have been awful. But we won in exciting fashion. That catch by Deonte Thompson and Shady's run were amazing. got photos and the tickets as proof that we were at the Colts-Bills Blizzard Bowl!
Tickets were awesome, but the Buffalo Bills were atrocious. They were limp and got smashed 47-10 by the New Orleans Saints.
Tailgating was fantastic, game great, weather crappy
Great game because we are fielding a competitive team! The game experience was excellent in the tailgate and in the stadium.
It was a great game with lots of drama. I couldn't believe that some fans were leaving with about 4 minutes left when TB went ahead 27-20. But the Bills roared back to win 30-27.
The sun was shining and the temperature at Kickoff was almost 90F. The Bills played great and the crowd was into it. Excellent day!
THE BILLS WON AND IT WAS HOT. GREAT TAILGATE. COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER DAY
I may be biased because I'm a huge bills fan and have been going to the games for about 20 years now with my dad! This was by far one of the best games I've gone to! Despite all the broncos fans being present, bills mafia made their mark loud and proud like they always do! If you've never been to a bills game before, or an NFL game, this place is highly recommended! One of the best tailgates you'll ever be a part of! Go bills!
