  • Lacrosse Kicks Hockey's A$$!

This was way more fun than going to a Flames game. The fans were not uptight and the ticket prices were great. Definitely more of a blue-collar crowd.

  • Lacrosse is the best game ever!

I was hooked on indoor (ie. box) lacrosse the first time I went to a game nine years ago. It is, without question, the best spectator sport in the world—face paced, with skill, finesse, brute force. Just a perfect combination of all the things that make watching a sport entertaining. Friday's Roughnecks-Knighthawks game was no different. Calgary got out to an early lead, but Rochester nibbled away at it in the second half, leading to a melee in front of the Calgary net in the dying seconds of the game that was about as intense and exciting as anything your ever liable to see in any sport. Loved it!

Awesome, stellar game! Beginning to end lots of goals, excitement, fights and with a prime seat behind the penalty boxes whenever missed the sideline fights either! All around good time!!

My first ever roughnecks game and had soooo much fun! If you've never taken one in, get on it!

This was my first time going to a Lacrosse Game. As a WHL season ticket holder I found that this sport seems to cater to a younger crowd ( screaming teenage girls ). Also the music during play is alright but the announcer needs to grow up. He made a great effort at making the game annoying with his rediculus comments. The game itself is very entertaining but seems to suffer from subjective refereeing. As for the ticket office, you need to have one window dedicated for pick-up only as there was a 30 minute lineup to get your tickets.

The game was awesome - would be great to sees packed house- the boys deserve it Go Roughnecks!!! Don't understand why they replaced Derrick with a Honey Badger - what does some African badger have to do with oil and gas in Alberta - Derrick would destroy the Honey Badger

  • Roughneck throw down!

by babyb on 2012-02-20Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing game. I loved every action filled minute. The fan interactions were good. I like how they did not just stay in the bottom sections. it was fast paced and action packed. Go Roughnecks go.

  • Stop the music during play at Lacrosse games!!!!

by gsrogers on 2012-01-30Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Overall it was a good game, I totally despise the music playing during play. Also, don't care for the announcer speaking during play.

  • Lacrosse delivers as always!

    by Hammer1080 on 2012-01-25Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing game - lots of goals, excitement, passion. Lacrosse at its finest. These games should be selling out. Quarter the price of hockey, more action, more lively fans and a better team on the floor than on the ice in Calgary.

  • Fantastic home opener!!!

by Meandtheboys on 2012-01-24Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Wow what a game. The Roughnecks rock. Loss in OT, but great anyways. You really should take you sons (and daughters) to a game.

  • Good Game

by CasualRoughnecksFan on 2012-01-23Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Was neat to sit close to the action (just above the penalty box). They sure can slash and cross-check away without penalty in this game of lacrosse.

  • Awesome Game - Outcome Could've Been Better!

by cdnhunter on 2011-05-09Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The game was amazing . . . the Washington goalie was fabulous. However, the final score could have been a little better . . . in favor of the Roughnecks!!!

  • Wicked game, tough loss

    by Hammer1080 on 2011-05-09Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Incredible defense and goal-tending by Washington stole the game. Great finish to the season - Roughnecks better be back next season because nothing beats having pro lacrosse in town!

My wife and I had a fantastic time. It was our first Roughnecks game and won't be our last. My only suggestion is to Ticketmaster (being i'm not really familiar with the Saddledome) with tickets a map also accompany showing best area to park.

  • Roughnecks game outstanding!

by DreadPirateJimbo on 2011-05-02Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I strongly believe indoor lacrosse is the best spectator sport ever and this game was a perfect example. Great plays on both ends of the floor, strong defence, some spectacular goals as well as outstanding saves. several bone-crushing hits, and non-stop, fast-paced action. More people need to get out and give lacrosse a chance and discover just how entertaining this sport is. Go Roughnecks!!!
