This game was awesome! The Mammoth came out so quick that Calgary had to sub in Palidwor to have a talk with shell shocked Poulin. After he came back it seemed he was back into form, though that start left a lot of catching up for the Necks. From there it was a shootout with the lead changing almost constantly.

Roughnecks - quality entertainment. If you think you might like basketball with sticks, this is definitely up your ally.

The Roughnecka and Rock played like it was super important to finish with home advantage and have bragging rights for the regular season. Best defence I have ever seen in lacrosse with no shortage of highlight reel acrobatic goals.

  • we flew in for the game

My 17yr-old son is a high performance box lacrosse player but as we live in Regina we do not have close access to professional level lacrosse, so I brought him along on a recent business trip to Calgary and we attended this game. We both had a great time - the game was great and the atmosphere exciting. Way better than sitting through a hockey game!

The Roughnecks handled the Rush with ease. Everybody should get out to see this spectacle, for the money it is the cheapest entertainment you are going to see at the Dome.

  • Great value and entertainment

I would definitely go again. Much more affordable than a Flames game, great music and fan atmosphere.

Game was very exciting and close, son is a former minor and junior lacrosse player from BC and he thought it was great, 3rd game we've been to and all were great. A bit loud for me but not unbearable, quite evident the 50ish lady behind me is a big Roughneck fan as she cussed the other team everytime they got the ball. I quess the old Calgary?Edmonton rivalry is alive and well in lacrosse also.

Great game! A Rush goal in OT would be the only thing I would have liked to see.

A heart wrenching game...the Roughnecks lost! The Rush's goalie was phenomenal - set a new NLL record. It was a great season for the Roughnecks and the games are always SO much fun! Great energy, spirit and fans!

The Roughnecks never fail to deliver value for your money. They fell a bit short to secure a win and advance but they did the city proud.

My gal and I had a great time.We had good seats, almost to low. It was hard to see the other goal action. fast paced action, lots of goals, and pretty rough. Certainly be back for another one. Great party atmosphere. The MC/host did a really good job keeping everyone into the game. Well done all around.

the game was fast, exciting and fun. Our kids loved it but I think the Mom's had more fun and cheered the loudest. Very entertaining all around...a great family event.

  • It had been a while

by LAXfan on 2010-03-07Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Although I did attend the final when the Roughnecks won last year (which was amazing), it had been a few years since I had attended a regular season game. Now I remember why I used to be a season ticket holder. Absolutely fantastic entertainment for the price. Looking forward to the next game already.
