Calgary Stampede Rodeo Tickets

We were surprised that the gates did not open until 11:00 on a Saturday and many in the line with us had the same thoughts so an earlier start time would be ideal , especially on a Saturday. Once the gates opened however the fun began with things to see and to do. Still some deals available in Weadickville to get us started and then off to see the sights and enjoy the smells of the midway. The FMX show was shortened based on the wind but they did not disappoint . Rodeo again the focal point of it all and the cowboys / cowgirls showed what incredible performers they are , and tough ! Only complaint was with our seats , thought up high with no one behind us would be ideal but people stood behind us using the wall to lean on and at times we couldn't hear the announcer based on the conversation behind us . An excellent show though ...

Just keeps getting better and better! Love it! I would love to see more mobility options for seniors. Scooter or mini shuttles to get from point A to B kinda thing.

Every Canadian should see it once in their lifetime.

Took my adult so to the rodeo and grandstand show. We toured the park and some of the side attractions (not enough time to fo them all). We enjoyed every minute of our Stamped experience with the exception of paying $4.00 for a bottle of water on a 30C plus day. Was about a $100 spent in water. I should have brought bottles to fill, but the line ups for the water fountain were longer than for the ladies washroom lol

Excellent, we loved every minute; can't wait until next year.

Calgary stampede lived upto its reputation for us,especially after travelling 1400 km from Winnipeg to attend one. We had an amazing first time Rodeo experience.we were there on final day & still managed to get in without waiting as we had purchased tickets in advance on ticketmaster.ca I would definitely recommend it to first timers.

The last day of the rodeo is always the best cowboys & cowgirls trying their best to win the big money!!!! So entertaining :)

A must see once in a lifetime. Calgary Stampede committee are on top of their game.

THE WEATHER WAS EXCEPTIONAL FOR MOST OF THE EVENT. EVEN WHEN IT STARTED RAINING & HAIL CAME DOWN THE TRUE SPIRIT OF THE FANS SHOWED & THE ATHLETES DID NOT SHOW ANY SIGN OF BACKING DOWN. ONCE AGAIN THE FINALS WERE VALUE FOR THE MONEY & CALGARY SHOWED WHY THIS IS THE GREATEST OUTDOOR SHOW ON EARTH.

We always take our sons, daughter and their spouses to the Rodeo. We have a great time and love going. My husband and I always go to the final as well in both the Rodeo and the chuckwagons. Love the way they treat the animals, you can tell all stock is well cared for.

We haven't been to the rodeo in a few years and loved being there again to see all the action live. You miss so much when you watch on TV. This was a great day to watch the action. There was good mix of stock winning the day and cowboys/ cowgirls winning the day. Normally we go on the final Sunday to see the championships, but I was glad we went this day because we also got to see the novices in action too. Some really good up and comers to the pro circuit. From Tiany Schuster's record Stampede record setting run in Barrel Racing to J.B. Mauney's electrifying and heart-stopping ride in bull riding, this was definitely a day to remember

We attended the rodeo show during the afternoon which is always great. I am a city girl with not much experience with anything country, however, watching all the different competitions something different to see and really cool to experience. We were also part of the Grandstand show/derby in the evening and what an evening! The derby is great but I must say the Canada 150 show this year was outstanding! Unfortunately the rain did not let up so the show started a little late but they still were determined to go on anyway. The poor dancers/singers performing in the pouring rain was something to see! They were just amazing and the whole vibe was truly Canadian. Hats off to Jan Arden who was MCing the event...she is just so down to earth and really made the lousy weather something to stick around for. Something worth mentioning though is the crappy food. Other than the award winning BBQ, stick to the basics... hot dogs and french fries because you can never usually go wrong with these. My husband and I spent around $100 trying different food, even a food truck that displayed gourmet flatbread which turned out to be frozen and inedible. I understand that this is carnival food but I would absolutely stick to the BBQ... you can't go wrong.

Great weather this year for the second week of stampede!

Our seats were excellent, right at the center of the arena. Went with a friend who had not seen the rodeo before and he was impressed by how professionally and how seamlessly the events unfolded. Excellent entertainment, excellent athletes, both men and animal, and a very entertaining afternoon.

It was a fun day all in all at the Rodeo. One suggestion is there are to many vendors walking around selling 50/50 tickets and other things etc. They would stop right in front of you and obstruct your view. If people want to buy them just set up a few spots in the concourse (like in the saddledome). People who want to buy them will find them or just have a couple of sellers walking around - They were everywhere!
