CamelPhat on Tour

The Grammy-nominated British EDM and producer duo CamelPhat is a standout crossover act traversing various styles, including deep house and techno.

They had their breakout moment in 2014 with the hit single "Paradigm," a collaboration with Ame.

CamelPhat is best known for their collaboration with Elderbrook on the 2017 international hit single "Cola," which was nominated for a Grammy in 2018. "Cola," the unmistakable 2017 anthem of Ibiza, won the DJ Award for Track of the Season in 2017, and the duo won Best House Artist at the DJ Awards in 2018. Other high-profile collaborations include "Panic Room" with Au/Ra, "Breathe" with Christoph and Jem Cooke, "Be Someone" with Jake Bugg, and "Hypercolour" with Yannis Philippakis.

They released their debut album, Dark Matter, in 2020, with EDM Reviewer calling it "riveting and pleasantly esoteric."

If you'd like to go on a progressive musical tour of the beats of CamelPhat, get tickets to see them when they come to a city near you.

CamelPhat Live in Concert

The duo that makes up CamelPhat is Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala. Their name derives from their passion for camels. Both are from Liverpool, England. When they met, Whelan was a DJ playing at local clubs, and Di Scala was a security guard at 3 Beat Records in Liverpool.

They teamed up in 2004 and played under several names, including Wheels & Disco, Men from Mars, Da Mode, and Pawn Shop. They released their first single as CamelPhat in 2010.

They know their craft very well! Wish the set was a little bit longer. 2 hours is just not enough for Camelphat!

This was my first time at the venue, History, I was very impressed. The layout, organization, and friendliness of the staff was 10/10. And of course Camelphat was incredible.

  • Great Performance Venue needs work

by Hamz on 2023-01-24History - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

So History is really cool but they NEED to add ventilation. This club ran out of space at Coat check, which is insane. How do you not think of having lots of coat check space while making a club in a country that is mostly cold ? Because there was no space for coat check lots of people ended up sweating and it smelled like straight cheese inside History. There's gotta be AC or just some sort of ventilation to avoid the smell. Also the smoking area doors either need to be made clear or be left open, because I almost smacked someone in the face when I opened the door the same time someone else was. I can see someone's nose breaking due to a situation like this. Mix in drunk people and yea def gonna happen. I'll say this tho the staff were very nice. I was quite surprised because clubs are known for having agrresive staff but the staff told me to take my time and not too worry.

  • Great set by Camelphat

    by Imad K on 2023-01-24History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great performance by Camelphat. History is a great club with a massive dance floor. The audio visuals were also amazing. A 3 hour set by such big artists is unheard of. Thank you for the great event. Only con at this event was that the coat check was full before 11 pm which meant a lot of people had to either keep their jackets / coats on throughout the event or find a corner somewhere to leave their jackets. All in all, great concert.
