Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet Tickets

It has been a family tradition for years to attend the Nutcracker Ballet at Christmas time. It marks the beginning of the season for us. As we all know, Covid 19 has meant a pause in life as we knew it. Returning to a live performance was an emotional experience, made all the better by the fabulous presentation by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Kudos to all involved and a huge thank you from me and my family!

I enjoyed the ballet very much! Well put, well organized, nice costumes, talented dancers, the orchestra did a great job! Highly recommended and would definitely re-attend again!

Thé présentation of the Nutcracker was one of the best I have seen, we go every year. Thé décoration of the theater was sadly lacking, whoever made the decision to not have a Christmas tree needs to be fired. I know it’s COVID time but really a Christmas tree is not going to infect anyone.

The NAC orchestra gave such an amazing performance. Every note was perfect. The dancing was beautiful, just beautiful. The venue handled the crowd smoothly inside.

Beautiful art work from beginning to end, music, cast and scenes were brilliant. I enjoyed it very much. My only comment is the inability to see properly due to the poor elevation in the seats. We were 10 people sitting in Orchestra row v and we all had the same issue. I was in an aisle seat and was able to crane my neck through the middle. But something needs to be done about this.

This was my first time at the NAC and it was beautiful with great site lines and acoustics. This was also the first seeing the RW Ballet and I thought it was a beautiful performance. I will definitely go see them again.

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet did a beautiful job of intrepreting the Nutcracker. I especially liked the dance of the snowflakes.

I was nervous about taking my six year old son, but he also loved every moment, and asked to come back next year! So wonderful!

The nutcracker is a holiday classic for a reason and the Winnipeg Royal Ballet also always does a beautiful job of bringing it to life! The NAC orchestra was perfectly paired with the ballet as well. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone and can't wait to see it again myself!

It was my first time seeing a production of the Nutcracker, and I have been so looking forward to it. It didn't disappoint. We went as a family and we were all so excited. The show was absolutely astonishing, riveting. What an evening. We loved it.

Lovely NAC Southam Hall venue, orchestra great but small, as music did not resonate at all well to back of hall, set design B-, costumes D+, changes to a Canadiana storyline boring, Act 1 choreography especially poor. The pas de deux and sugar plum fairy dances were lackluster. Rating, ‘can do better’ next season🙏🎄sticking with the National Ballet going forward.

The dancers and the musicians were amazing. My husband and I really appreciated this show.

What a way to bring ballet back to Ottawa. RWB’s Nutcracker was beautiful. Well done!

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance even my teenage son. The costumes and the dancing was breathtaking.

The Nutcracker is a tradition for me and my daughter. We’ve been going for the last 20 years! The years performance had beautiful costumes, incredible dancing and the music was lovely.

La magie de Casse-Noisettes! Avec des adaptations canadiennes comme le hockey de rue en début de spectacle. Et malgré un plus petit nombre de jeunes danseurs, pandémie oblige. Une excellente soirée du Royal Winnipeg Ballet, comme toujours.

I live outside the NCA and need to travel 45 min. to get to the NAC. Well the minute I hit the 417, snow, wind, accidents on the 417 ... so I decided to go back home. Took me an hour to drive what normally would take me 15 minutes... Not happy - Last year no Nutcracker because of Covid - this year a winter storm - My favorite my tradition ... I am certain they would have had a 5 star review- they are excellent. Next year, I am not missing the Nutcracker for sure...

So happy to be able to get back to love performances. It was sad though that you could see the lack of polish, the lack of synchronicity of the corps du ballet, bobbles in balance, in consistencies in extension. They effected the performance but I still had a wonderful time.

Such a good show, so glad they’re back to performing again!
