She is the consummate performer. She handled all questions with grace and class. The video material was perfect. It gave an overall memorable feeling to the whole evening.
Carol Burnett is such an icon! It was lovely to see her in person after so many years of watching her variety show! I brought my 22 year old daughter and she loved it!! Many thanks for bringing her to Toronto! She is still so quick on her feet with funny come backs!
Loved the show. Carol Burnett looked great. Was well spoken and had great behind the scenes stories to tell about the show and more!

Carol Burnett was in fine form - very engaging and warm. She told some stories about her show and cast members that were priceless. She showed some clips of the show throughout the evening which were also great to see. The issue is the "Q and A" format of the show. Questions are not screened and they should be. Some questions were self serving (people who wanted to perform and get recognition than to ask a question). The concert is only 1 1/2 hours long (no internission) so to have people waste precious time with their own self-serving needs is frustrating. And all questions invariably began with how they used to watch CB as a child etc etc - again wasting precious time. Carol Burnett was wonderful - we would have loved to have a longer concert and spend more time with this icon. For the ticket price, 1 1/2 hours was not long enough.
After watching her for years Carol Burnett certainly has not lost her touch! I thought the event might be boring as it was unscripted but I couldn't have been more wrong!! She was funny and just as witty as she was in her younger years! She hasn't lost her touch at all!! I have to say there were some pretty strange people there. I love Carol and all but some of the people seemed creepily obsessed with her!!

She is an amazing lady but definitely not what we expected or worth the money we paid.
It was an amazing night being in the same room as Carol Burnett . After growing up with watching the Carol Burnett show . To be able to sit in the same room as her and ask her whatever questions you wanted was just a dream come true. The avalon Ballroom is a great venue to see a show at . It gives you a chance to get up close and personal with many of the stars that we have grown up with .
Carol had me in continuous giggles all night long bringing back a beautiful flood of memories from my childhood !
This was a gift for our 40th Anniversary, we were looking forward to this show. We did enjoy the clips from various shows, which brought back memories. It was difficult to hear her at times. Overall we found the questions from the audience annoying, some were promoting an event. There were questions about meeting her years ago, do you remember that Carol? Some questions were taking too long and had no substance. We both felt that the audience from her TV shows were more interesting and funny. I suppose were expecting too much, and expecting a show, similar to standup comics shows. Therefore, I suppose we were dissappointed for the price we paid.
Lots of dialogue with the audience - great film clips of past tv shows and celebrities. What an enjoyable, fun evening. Could have listened to her the whole night. Hope she comes back soon.................
It was like going back to when I was young and used to watch her shows...I enjoyed the audience asking questions and Carol Burnett putting clips together remembering the shows..I also thought how nice and down to earth she was and inviting people back for an autograph or whatever...she did not have to offer to come back after the show...What a lady
In years gone by, I remember watching the Carol Burnett show. It was full of hilarious antics that Carol and her cast entertained us with on a weekly basis. As a result, I thought I would like to see Carol just one more time as a reminder to a time long gone by. To my chagrin, this show lacked any content. Although Carol did show us some clips from the old comedy show, I thought she should have had at least a half hour or more of a prepared speech that would tell us a little of her life then and now. It would have been an opportunity to catch us up on what has transpired in her life personally since the closing of the old comedy show. Unfortunately, the entire show was filled with people asking trivial questions and Carol providing very short answers. This show could have been so much more than just that.
Carol Burnett is an amazing celebrity. it was well worth it to see her perform. she's very funny and entertaining. she had the audience eating out of her hand. she has some real good story's about tim conway and harvey corman. the vintage TV show footage was classic.
While I was glad to be able to see this comedic Icon, I was disappointed in the show. The questions from the audience were not very good, she could not hear the questions because of the echo in the theater. Her stories seemed very rehearsed and not that funny. Would have like to have seen more clips from her tv show. Only on stage for an hour and a half.
Show was great. Loved seeing clips from The CB Show and hearing Carol speak. She was so willing to invite audience members with special requests back stage after the show. Only disappointment was that I had already heard most of her material and stories when she was a guest on The Hour. As for the Orpheum, what a beautiful venue. However, we were in the very top row and Carol should have been on the video screens. We had to sit on the seats folded up in order to see this petite woman on the stage and we certainly couldn't see her face and expressions. Washroom locations are poorly marked as well and not a lot of ushers around to ask.
I want my money back! If I had known the venue, I would have remained home and ordered her CDs on line and enjoyed the laughs. Sitting up in the balcony, we could not see her! Everyone was straining forward in their seat just to get a glimpse of her. The questions seemed " rehearsed" and she never answered questions from way up, despite women waving their arms frantically. Never again!
