It’s no surprise that it took Carrie Underwood less than 8 years to become a country music legend. With a powerful chest voice, stunning vibrato, and knack for writing tunes that are both moving and catchy, Underwood’s talents combine to make her one of today’s most popular vocal and songwriting powerhouses. Her most recent album, “Blown Away,” was released in May 2012 with the help of legendary producer Mark Bright. “Blown Away” was a smash commercial and critical success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and garnering her the 2012 American Music Award for Country Album, as well as nominations for a People’s Choice Award, Billboard Music Award, and Country Music Association Award. The album’s first single, “Good Girl,” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Country chart and No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. In May 2012, Underwood took to the road with her “Blown Away” Tour, traveling the U.S., Europe and Australia with her new songs. The tour earned around $30 million and sold over 486,504 tickets. Despite the album’s undeniable success, it was long before “Blown Away” that Underwood cemented herself as a force in country music. She caught national attention in 2005, when she won the fourth season of “American Idol,” after which she put out her first album, “Some Hearts,” which remained on the Billboard’s Top 200 for over two years and sold over seven million copies. Since then, Underwood has continued to climb to heights of unprecedented success selling more than 15 million albums, racking up 16 No. 1 singles, and winning five Grammy Awards. It’s true that a reality television show is what introduced Carrie Underwood to stardom but it’s undeniable that her own writing talent, vocal ability, and undeniable star quality is what has kept her there.

    In addition to meeting Carrie Underwood this time around in Ottawa on the #CryPrettyTour360, this show is larger than life and so is Carrie and her vocals and not to mention the stage! My mom and I saw her in Ottawa and we’ll be seeing her in Toronto as well and we’re so excited. We give a 10/10 rating

    I attended the concert with my daughter. Carrie Underwood is an amazing vocalist. I am not a true country music fan, but there are some artists in country music that I enjoy because they don't sound too country to me. Carrie Underwood is one of those country artists. Carrie covered the entire 360 stage, she did a lot of walking, which means that we all got to see her up close. I just enjoyed listening to her sing some of her old songs and some new. I will be listening to her Cry Pretty album on-line to determine if I want the album because she has some really good new songs. I can't believe that it has been 14 years since American Idol for her, which she mentioned during her concert. I also did not realize that she plays instruments as well.

    From start to finish Runaway June, Maddie & Tae and Carrie put on a jam packed, highly entertaining show. My only complaint is the height of the stage. I was on the floor and felt like I missed some of the show when the performers were on the other side of the stage that I couldn’t see at all.

    I drove from Montreal to see Carrie in concert as she hasn’t been to Montreal yet!!! She was amazing the show was amazing, but the audience participation and appreciation was poor, I have been to many concerts in Montreal and the atmosphere is so much better!! But I am so happy I finally got to see her live, waited many years for this chance and she did not disappoint 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
