About

Miranda Lambert has defied Nashville’s conventions and stereotypes on albums like Kerosene (2005) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007), as well as bold singles like “Gunpowder & Lead” and “Mama’s Broken Heart.” One of the 21st century’s defining country music stars, Lambert’s accolades include three Grammy Awards — among them Best Country Album for 2019’s Wildcard — and the distinction of being the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music (ACM) history. A perennial Billboard Hot Country Songs chart-topper, and always attached to her fiercely independent Lone Star roots, Lambert’s career has evolved with concept albums like The Weight of These Wings (2016) and an electrifying, pyrotechnic-fueled Las Vegas residency.

  • Bringing back old country!

by Amanda on 2024-08-28Rating: 5 out of 5

Reading some of these negative reviews from Calgary is just insane, wondering if we were at the same concert? cuz it was amazing! I was just sad it wasn’t longer , she crammed in as many songs as she could , you all have to remember it was a stampede concert not a regular concert! I’ve been to hers in the past and u can see the difference. Still had the time of my life ! She’s amazing! For the she didn’t work the stage, she’s bringing old country back and it was incredible!

  • Amazing Show!

by Eva on 2024-07-18Rating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time, definitely well worth it. Miranda put on an excellent show as did Jess Moskaluke, definitely a great opener pick. Screaming some of her hits was very therapeutic I have to say. She didn’t freak out over flash if you go and look at those girls she called out on Vegas they were being very disruptive and Miranda obviously knows what she’s doing as a performer. I give it 4/5 simply because she came on a half hour later than stated, she definitely could have gotten some more of her hits in if she had came on earlier. Overall a memorable evening!

Love Mianda's music. She had a good light/stage show. Buutttt.....sorry to say both her and the band had absolutely nooo stage presence...they just stood and played. Nothing to get you going or yee hawing.... the opening act Jess worked the stage and crowd real good. The Band stand guys out in the Rodeo grounds really new how to work the stage and crowd a 100 X's better.

It was amazing but Jess sounded not so good. I think it was set for Miranda only. The first time I saw her, I was disappointed I was not this time!♥️

  • Vibes forgot to attend.

by Country girl on 2024-07-15Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Jess was amazing of an opener. She should have been her own show. Miranda made me feel like I went right back to the 70’s. Before technology, before stage presence, before modern day. Which was great for a couple songs, to feel transported back to when they were written, but overall it felt unemotional. She didn’t look like she wanted to be there. She sounded mostly ok, but there was no flair to her concert. The set list was good, her songs fit the vibes, but her face and body language didn’t. I think I only saw her smile once. Her backup dancer looked like the was the main act. She was emotionally invested in the songs, interacting with people on stage, and dancing her heart away. Miranda was not there. No flair, no audience interaction, and even her set felt like it hadn’t been updated since the 70’s. Overall I was fairly disappointed. I guess now I know why last minute tickets were so cheap for the box.
