About

Cesar Millan is a world-renowned dog behaviour specialist, known for his uncanny ability to walk large packs of dogs at a time. Not only that but, from poodles to pit bulls, these now well-behaved canines have each been rehabilitated and rescued from a wide range of extreme behaviour issues - anything from insecurity to severe ‘red zone’ aggression!
Born and raised in Mexico, his blessed gift - a primal communion with nature -always came naturally to him, but his unique connection to canines became most noticeable around the age of 13. Everywhere Cesar went, there always seemed to be a swirl of dogs surrounding him. The locals gave him a nickname, ”El Perrero” - Spanish for “The Dogman”.
Cesar embraced this gift wholeheartedly, and he came to America to pursue his dream of becoming the greatest dog trainer in the world. He soon realized, though, that he was searching for something rather more profound than teaching dogs basic commands.
Heeding his grandfather’s advice to ‘never work against Mother Nature’, Cesar acquired yet another pack of dogs. He passionately studied books on dog psychology, but it was through his own observation, awareness, and firsthand experience that Cesar distilled his own formulas that clearly kept dogs balanced, calm, and submissive.

    Good show

    by Krazy4k9s on 2012-12-01CE Centre - Ottawa

The Cesar Millan Seminar (as was quoted live) was good. No matter how many times I hear him, there is always something else I take away from the show. He has a very natural way on the stage that makes him real... His demonstrations were, as usual, impressive, but then again, if you learned anything from his lessons, common sense; he just shows it in action. I found that he was a bit all over the place between his show and commitment to us and his promotion to his future endeavors... I did not like the venue. it was flat and the stage was too low. Even though there were screens, I'm so short and was pretty much at the back that I never saw anything that was on the live stage, didn't really see Coco, even on the screen, and with the screen had to waver between heads to get a clear view. In all honesty, I much preferred his first show in Ottawa...

    Won't be forgotten!

    by 0987 on 2012-12-01CE Centre - Ottawa

We definitely enjoyed the seminar - Cesar had a great rapport with the audience, funny -- his comments made total sense in our heads. He should DEFINITELY be brought back again and again!!!! If his tickets were less expensive, just think of how many MORE people would come out to see him.

    Cesar Millan was great

by Sturgeon on 2012-12-01CE Centre - Ottawa

Cesar Millan is excellent in his understanding of dogs and how to communicate with them. I am learning a lot from him and it was great to see him in person and see him work with the local dogs and their owners here in Ottawa.

    Meh

    by 1FineK9 on 2012-12-01CE Centre - Ottawa

I love Cesar, but I was disappointed with this show compared to his last one. Cesar was charming and funny, but I found him a bit 'scattered'. There were a lot of video clips, a few dogs, and lots of promotion for his new show and his son's new show. The venue SUCKED! Not good. I watched the whole show one of the video screens :( His first show was amazing, but this show ... not so much.

Cesar was amazing, but I could have seen more at home on my TV. I caught a glimpse of his face once, except on screen. All of the time I could see only the top half of the screens. The venue was terrible! I will never attend another event at the CE Centre. The stage, or at least the screens, need to be higher. I would far rather watch him on TV or a DVD! But Cesar is still my Hero. He's the best. artdog

    Cesar Millan was simply amazing!

by Raychill on 2012-11-30Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

We really enjoyed the show. Cesar shared some personal stories with the audience, made us laugh and shared his knowledge and wisdom about dogs. He was entertaining yet educating at the same time. I couldn't believe the show was over - I wanted more! Cesar is a down to earth man with a good heart and spreads his good energy to all. Can't wait until next year's show!

I loved this show. Cesar Millan was entertaining, funny and exceptional at engaging the audience. To be so well entertained and to learn something new at the same time was great. He seems like a very "real' person and is my hero for the guidance he gives dog owners. Unforgettable show!

    Cesar Millan was inspirational

by satchel on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

My 16 year old daughter asked me to take her to see The Dog Whisperer. We recently became a single parent family and had two rescue dogs that were in need of training. My daughter watched Cesar all of the time and applied his techiniques to our out of control dogs. She did an amazing job and both dogs are very well trained and obedient. Your show was amazing and the smile on my daughter's face just to be able to see Cesar in person, was priceless, Congratulations on your tour!

    Cesar's funny

by Balanced on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

It was a good show Cesar's very funn. It was informative and I enjoyed seeing all the different dogs. Having Calvin come up on stage was nice, I know my nephew really enjoyed hearing what Calvin said from a peer point of view. He really really enjoyed the Grandma role reverse, laughed out load.

Cesar was engaging and energetic as usual!

by IrishSetterMama on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

My husband and (adult) daughter attended with me and we thoroughly enjoyed the event. Even though the content is similar to his television program and the live event that we attended 2 years ago, the message is still worth hearing. He makes an effort to be relevant to his audience and is clearly passionate about his work.

Excellent I hope he will come back very soon.

by November on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I absolutely enjoyed this show, it had lots of information and explanations to help people understand more about dogs' world and at the same time Cesar presented everything in a very funny way. I hope next time he will be able to have more shows in this city and that he will come back very soon.

    Cesar Millan

by Anonymous on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

show was awesome as expected. unfortunately I would love to have seen Junior but Ontario's uneducated ban on pitbulls denied this. Cesar has a wonderful sense of humour which endears me to his common sense teaching. Good luck to his son on his own upcoming tv show.

    Cesar Millan was fantastic!

by Nadchelle on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

We enjoyed his show again, nice to see it was a little different from his last show. His content was very informative and useful. It was good to see hands on demonstrations with real dogs even if they peed! Cesar brings great humour to his talks, he could be a stand up comedian. We would like to know how bring our dogs to meet Cesar. Bring him back again really, really, enjoyed the show. He is eye candy.

    Cesar Millan is Amazing!

by Hendy on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

This man is truly an inspiration! His outlook on life itself is something to be admired! He teaches more than how to handle your dog/dogs, he teaches how to stop and smell the roses and be aware of the world around you, and it will benefit your dog as well. He is also comical, it was an amazing evening, lots of laughs and even some tears.... Keep plugging on Cesar!!

    Not what I anticipated..

by Dblock5 on 2012-11-29Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

On the positive, Cesar was entertaining and shared good tips and knowledge with us. Where it fell short for me was I was expecting more demos with live dogs. The demos that did occur, I did not find them useful. My husband does not watch the show, so I was hoping he would be sold over with the live examples so him and I can be on the same page as dog owners.

by SmileyMiley on 2012-11-29The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Was very enjoyable would go back and see again. Would of been nice if we could have brought our pets, better yet it would of been great if he came to our home. Also it would of been nice to be-able to ask questions during the show and after.
