Cesar Millan is a world-renowned dog behaviour specialist, known for his uncanny ability to walk large packs of dogs at a time. Not only that but, from poodles to pit bulls, these now well-behaved canines have each been rehabilitated and rescued from a wide range of extreme behaviour issues - anything from insecurity to severe ‘red zone’ aggression!
Born and raised in Mexico, his blessed gift - a primal communion with nature -always came naturally to him, but his unique connection to canines became most noticeable around the age of 13. Everywhere Cesar went, there always seemed to be a swirl of dogs surrounding him. The locals gave him a nickname, ”El Perrero” - Spanish for “The Dogman”.
Cesar embraced this gift wholeheartedly, and he came to America to pursue his dream of becoming the greatest dog trainer in the world. He soon realized, though, that he was searching for something rather more profound than teaching dogs basic commands.
Heeding his grandfather’s advice to ‘never work against Mother Nature’, Cesar acquired yet another pack of dogs. He passionately studied books on dog psychology, but it was through his own observation, awareness, and firsthand experience that Cesar distilled his own formulas that clearly kept dogs balanced, calm, and submissive.
I was so impressed at how he made a talk on information and was able to make it so entertaining. I would certainly go again. I loved it.
Enjoyed Cesar very much. His expressions and enthusiasm were very entertaining. The cartoon during intermission was just hilarious....too bad so many missed it. The show was filled with great information and alot of laughs too.
Presentation was in a seminar format with comic interjections. Enjoyed his story telling and his background. Demonstrated problems with volunteers and their dogs and how to correct them. Would have liked to have more resolutions to various problems possibly submitted from the audience.
Cesar was entertaining, funny and adorable! I was pleasantly surprised to have learned so much to help with our dog!
was expecting more like his show with more info regarding difficult animals. Found the show a little boring.
Cesar, you are truly an inspiration. If only we all could take your advise, and practice exercise, discipline and affection all the time!! Thank you so much for proving that our species is not completely doomed (haha)! :)
Excellent seminar by Cesar. He crafted a lot of very useful information together with humor and personal experiences to help showcase the points he was making. His use of live dogs as examples also helped to prove the points he was making. I also enjoyed the Q & A session at the end.
Last night's show is Sudbury was,informative,hilarious,engaging and so much more. For you skeptics who think his tv show is edited too make him look like a miracle worker then you need to see him live. He really is that good. Using local dogs he hadn't met you see the transformation almost instantly. I was a little disappointed with the question period,would have liked it to be a little longer or kept moving for more topics.I too agree that pictures should be allowed during this closed session, we did pay quite a bit extra. As a volunteer with a local rescue organization it would also have been nice to have had an opportunity to meet and formally welcome him especially considering his new show is focusing on rescue dogs.
While I didn't learn as much as I thought I would, it is a great show. Cesar is very funny and well mannered. I was not let down at all. I would recommend seeing him, and getting as close as possible to front row (that's where I was sitting). I'm not sure if it would have been as "magical" if I was sitting in the nosebleed section!
I travelled 5 hours to see Cesar Millan and let me tell you it was an unforgettable experience..the one thing that i was hoping for was to be able to get a picture with him and maybe an autograph, that part was sooo disappointing,considering the amount i paid for vip tickets. Cesar will always be my hero and i will always watch his show but for vip tickets we should have at least gotten a picture with him..hey maybe next time huh?
i thought this show was very well done! i learned more then i thought i would, although i would like to have seen more dog interaction. i guess i didn't realize it was a seminar for people and how people are supposed to act and less about actually training the dogs. my seats were great so no issue there but for people who had to sit farther back it was nice that they had the huge screens on both sides that were very good quality and camera work. i might attend again if show was focused more on the dog training itself. but i do recommend everyone sees this show at least once! Overall i was very happy with the show:)
Cesar Milan mixes humour with teaching to communicate his message. I liked the combination of live teachings and also using prepared video pieces.
Recommended to anyone with or without a dog. The psychology behind the whole relationship and communication aspect is astounding! Thank you Cesar... you helped us to know what we were doing - right - wrong - and in between!

Cesar was knowledgeable and humorous. The time went by very quickly. Great price for a great show.
I saw Cesar Millan Live at the MTS Centre and the show was the best. There were cute dogs, heartwarming stories, funny stories and Cesar said things that really make sense about our society that really make you stop and think. I would recommend this event to anyone who loves dogs. I would definitely go see him again if he stops here again. Thanks for a great, cute and education show Cesar. You have done so much for people and their dogs.
Cesar Millan was great! Very entertaining and informative.
Cesar has lost his sparkle. He is basically going through the motions and his heart is no longer in performing. He was ok, but not as entertaining as he was two years ago. Sorry, to lose you Cesar, but you have to follow your dreams and your heart.
Great seminar - saw Cesar 2 years ago and while I enjoyed the first show a bit better than this year's, it was still a thoroughly enjoyable show. Would have been better if Cesar would have allowed a few pictures during the question and answer period. We paid a lot of money for the privilege of being there after the show, so it would have been better if pictures were allowed at that time. Last year pictures were allowed. I might not pay the extra money next time just for this reason ...
Cesar was awesome!!! Taught very well! And a nice surprise was that he is HILARIOUS!! I couldn't stop laughing! I will continue to go to his show everytime he comes to Winnipeg!!!
