About

Chelsea Handler is a comedian, television host, New York Times best-selling author and advocate whose humor and candor have established her as one of the most celebrated voices in entertainment and pop culture. After a strong seven-year run as the host of E!'s top-rated Chelsea Lately, a tenure in which she was the only female late-night talk show host on-air, she launched her documentary series Chelsea Does followed by her talk show Chelsea on Netflix in 2016. She has penned six best-selling books, five of which have reached #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list, including 2019's Life Will Be the Death of Me. She will executive produce and star in a TV adaptation of the book under her production banner, Chelsea Handler Productions.

In 2022, Handler made her return to Netflix with her critically acclaimed comedy special Revolution. It follows the success of her 2020 HBO Max comedy special Evolution, which earned Chelsea a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. In 2021, she launched her iHeart Radio advice podcast, Dear Chelsea, and embarked on the Vaccinated and Horny Tour, bringing her sensational stand-up set to 90+ cities with 115 shows across North America and winning "The Comedy Act of 2021" at the People's Choice Awards.

    Expectations

by Oldtimes on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Although I thought Chelsea Handler was entertaining it was quite evident that she had engaged in some substance before the show. At some points she seemed to loose her train of thought and after moving on to new material she would find herself back on the same stories she had already told. It was disappointing only because you pay a lot of money to see an act and the entertainer owes it to the audience to at least be straight and give the best they've got. I most likely would not see her again.

    Chelsea Handler in Windsor

by ForGoodnessSake on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Chelsea just did a stand up routine. Very disappointing because she only really talked about two topics.... masturbation and diarahea. She also referred to notes.... not professional. The Windsor casino is one of the nicest facilities I have seen. However, there were long lines exiting from the theatre. They need to learn crowd management!

    Old material abrupt exit

by Chelseafan on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Really expected better same old material and at one hour mark she states gotta go and runs off stage. Disappointing.

    Chelsea was a train wreck!

by Clubby on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

I wasn't expecting to much from the show since I had never seen chelsea handlers TV show. The seats that we had were excellent with a great view of the stage. The opening act was named fortune and she had the audience in tears. Her set lasted about 20 minutes then she introduced Chelsea. Chelsea seem to be drunk and under the influence of drugs. She was very sloppy with her jokes. She was so bad that people were walking out of the show. After less than an hour on stage she abruptly ended her set. It was the worst stand up performance I've ever witnessed.

Stick to your late night show

by Polarbearmum on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Too short of a show for starters! 1 hour for Handler exactly as she announced oh crap gotta go !! weird but it happened. Like she couldn't go over a 1 hour time slot? Very vulgar show so requires a certain type of person to watch , not for everyone. Very funny though, great personal stories, spent wayyyy too much time bashing her parents ability to parent. Most of the show she kept grabbing her nose for some reason, made it distracting... allergies maybe? not. Overall great show with good content. Love the late night show sooo much better.

Scattered show, no real flow to her performance. Disappointed. The headliner is supposed to be better then the opening act.

    not great

by coasterboy on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

New material didn't go so well, so she went to old material that I'd seen before. She offended people from Detroit, ouch! Opening act (Fortune Feimster) was great. Tickets seemed a little too pricey. Her "I don't care" attitude is one of the things I like about her, but I didn't think it meant she didn't care about putting on a good show for her fans.

    Chelsea was very ordinary

by Stro on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

While there were some funny moments, it was not quite what we expected.the warm up act was mildly amusing and Chelsea was much the same. On her TV show she demonstrates superior wit and and very funny sarcasm as she rips on everybody. Her stand-up act was missing those elements . I wouldn't say she was terrible, but she wasn't as funny as we anticipated.

    Save your Money

by Loufacc on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Save your money she was a weak performer at best. She did not remeber her own material (which wasnt that funny) and kept refering to a cheat sheet, probably because she appeared to be high on cocaine.

    Funny but Brief

    by Stc139 on 2013-08-12Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Chelsea was loads of laughs, but she seemed nervous (probably cause it was her first show in a few years) and stuttered a little on the newer material. She only was onstage for about an hour and most of the time I was in tears from laughing.

    Chelsea was forgettable!!

by tickle on 2011-02-25Orpheum Theatre - Vancouver

I so enjoy Chelsea Lately on E! Thought her live show would be a great experience. There were moments of great humour, but in general too much forgettable crude sexual commentary. The 'jokes' dragged on and blurred into one another, not too many you would remember to tell a friend (or even want to share). Maybe I didn't drink enough wine before I went to the show, but it was hard to find the humour in much of the commentary. I thought there would be more of her great takes on current news events and the 'stars' in the news. Chelsea was on stage for only an hour - it ended abruptly. Then everyone clapped briefly, stood up, and left!! Afterwards I thought the opening comedian's set was much the same as Chelsea's - several similar 'topics'. Maybe they should have compared notes before the show! My partner and I both agreed we felt disappointed. We are not prudish and were not shocked by her 'potty' mouth - we knew there were be a fair amount of crude language, just a bit boring as the set wore on (especially as we had already heard much the same during the first comedian's set).

    Pretty and Good

    by Candyass78 on 2011-02-22Orpheum Theatre - Vancouver

It was a great show, opener was good. If you have seen Chelsea before you may recognize a few jokes. All and all it was a great night out. The down side was she only performed for an hour. Thanks for a great girls night out.

Too expensive for what it was

by AlisonC on 2011-02-22Orpheum Theatre - Vancouver

I didn't expect Chelsea's act and her opener to be so dirty (perhaps there should be a warning), but it was pretty funny overall. I was kind of disappointed that Chelsea was only on for 50 minutes - doesn't really make my "cheap" ticket of $86 seem worth it, for a paltry 50 minutes of material. I've seen comedian shows such as Jerry Seinfeld and Kathy Griffin, which were priced around the same, and they delivered a lot more content for the price of the ticket.

    Chelsea Handler was a riot

by Ronnyroo on 2010-12-14Massey Hall - Toronto

A little sloppier than I imagined but she's a wild woman so not too surprising ... her hand was on her petunia throughout the show with lots of talk about lots of self amusement in her lower region especially as a child. Candid to a fault but genuine and still she's hilarious no matter what. Show biz needs this lady bad ... she's the most original comedian to come a long in ages. I wouldn't pay $100 to see just any commedian but I would to see her again.

    Not worth the money!

by miscellaneous on 2010-12-13Massey Hall - Toronto

The opening act was definately better than the main attraction. She looked like she was wasted and spend half an hour talking about her masturbation problem when she was 9. Might have been funnier if it was cut to a couple of minutes instead. Definately won't be paying to see her again.

Most of Chelsea's act was old material that I've seen her perform online. Some of the jokes were even from like 3 or 4 years ago. She also seemed kinda wasted and just not the Chelsea i see on t.v. I did laugh quite a bit, but it just didn't seem worth the money and time.

Chelsea Handler was in fine form

by alibobali on 2010-12-13Massey Hall - Toronto

She was blunt, honest, to the point and hilarious. You couldn't have asked for anything more, except for the set to be longer. She was only on for an hour.
