About

Chelsea Handler is a comedian, television host, New York Times best-selling author and advocate whose humor and candor have established her as one of the most celebrated voices in entertainment and pop culture. After a strong seven-year run as the host of E!'s top-rated Chelsea Lately, a tenure in which she was the only female late-night talk show host on-air, she launched her documentary series Chelsea Does followed by her talk show Chelsea on Netflix in 2016. She has penned six best-selling books, five of which have reached #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list, including 2019's Life Will Be the Death of Me. She will executive produce and star in a TV adaptation of the book under her production banner, Chelsea Handler Productions.

In 2022, Handler made her return to Netflix with her critically acclaimed comedy special Revolution. It follows the success of her 2020 HBO Max comedy special Evolution, which earned Chelsea a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. In 2021, she launched her iHeart Radio advice podcast, Dear Chelsea, and embarked on the Vaccinated and Horny Tour, bringing her sensational stand-up set to 90+ cities with 115 shows across North America and winning "The Comedy Act of 2021" at the People's Choice Awards.

It had its funny moments but didn't like the q and a format. Would have rather have seen her talk about the same materials but in a stand up manner.

    Not what I expected.

by Anonymous on 2018-09-25Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

To make it better, it should have been advertised as an interview of Chelsea Handler.

    Meh

by Jflp on 2018-09-25Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Expected way better considering she’s hilarious on tv. I guess she’s only good when it’s scripted.

A bit overpriced for a 1hr interview and the 30 mins of questions from audience.

    Amazing person

by Jay56 on 2018-09-25Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Chelsea is an amazing human, she's brilliant, funny and not full of herself. She is insightful and not afraid to say what she is thinking. I don't always agree with what she may say, but respect her right to say it.

    Chelsea was so Chelsea

by CadysMom on 2014-06-03Casino Rama - Rama

Did not know what to expect when we bought tickets to see Chelsea. It was well worth it and extremely good. She really is an amazing story teller. Don't expect anything but the x-rated version of her. Super dirty - super funny! Well done.

    Worth the Drive to Rama!

by Petiee on 2014-05-27Casino Rama - Rama

Nothwithstanding battling rush hour traffic and missing dinner (given the battle and back routes needed to get there in time) - the chaos to get there was long forgotten once Chelsea hit the stage. She's on her game again. The time just flew and we were disappointed when her appearance ended! Fabulous that she stayed on to sign her book!

Brad Wollack was good. Love Chelsea. But a lot of her stand up material was done in her show. It was amusing though . Good experience. In a casino so that was fun!

    The Fun Didn't Stop

by Zetty on 2014-05-25Casino Rama - Rama

Although I thought the warm up comedian (Brad Wollack) was not that funny, the evening was saved by Chelsea Handler. She was sharp, funny and very entertaining. The combination of her stories with the pictures she showed really made me laugh out loud. I would see her again the next time she's in Toronto.

    Chelsea was great!

    by Babby515 on 2014-05-25Casino Rama - Rama

Glad Chelsea came to ONT, she is hilarious and I really enjoyed her act. My sister and I went to get a few laughs and she more than delivered. I hope she will come back to Rama again, maybe with Fortune or Sarah Colonna next time, not a big fan of Brad.

    Chelsea Handler stand up

by LawMah on 2013-08-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Openting act (Fortune) was hilarious but Chelsea struggled to get through the set and seemed pretty rusty. Would have been nice to see another experienced comedian from the show there just to fill out the time, which was just under an hour and a half, with more laughs. Worked out to about a dollar a minute which was disappointing as only about 30 mins of that was spent laughing.

    Chelsea was a mess

by Brookincanada on 2013-08-15The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Actually considered walking out of this one. I love Chelsea, her books and show, but this stage show was a hot mess. Opening act was great, but the headliner seemed to get lost in her stories, and messed up her "jokes". So disappointed. I can only assume she was wasted.

    What Was Chelsea Thinking?

by Tracy2 on 2013-08-14The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

You are not supposed to do Lunesta until after the show. Thank God she had Forturne open for her. She was hilarious but Chelsea did alot of stuff out of her books. No new material. That was disappointing. She was ok but Fortune was the star this time for sure.

Chelsea Handler tickets were over priced!!!

by nightout10 on 2013-08-14The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Opening act was funnier than Chelsea. Opening act talked about current news and our area.....not bowel movements. What is it with comedians talking about their bowel movements for most of the show. Change things up! Chelsea did look good and stayed on stage for an hour. She at least tried her best, since this was her first stand up gig in 2 years. Next time bring your cast with you and make it more entertaining for the price we paid. If she is on her own again, the most expense tickets should be under $80!! I would appreciate the Casino bringing down their drink prices and quicker service is needed (more staff/bars). Waiting in line for a half an hour is not fun at all!

    Chelsea not that funny

by Iggyreeb on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Quite disappointed for the money it cost. Fortune Feimster was funnier for sure. We were in the front row but on the left side of the stage, she never even came across the stage. As soon as the show was done she ran off the stage , no time for pictures or autographs.

    Chelsea Test Drive

by Bassett on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

An interesting demographic for Chelsea at the Colosseum. There was a huge contingent of the young and hip, many middle aged wearing too much reflective bling. the surprise was the number of motorized scooters wheeling around the auditorium. Our assumption that many were there not prepared for the show that was presented. Probably a lot of comp tickets issued for the evening thanks to the Casino rewards program. Many audience members were probably disillusioned by the content. Chelsea is known for her raw material. This concert was really raw. Too much emphasis on bodily function that after a while wasn't that funny. Chelsea is capable of a better show. This show was a test drive for newer material supposedly, however, some material was familiar. Chelsea is a favourite so it was fun to see her live, but she could have been better. The opening act, Fortune Feimster, a regular on Chelsea Lately, was a welcome addition to the program. Her material was fresh. She was quick on her feet. It was Chelsea's good Fortune to have this talented comic open for her.

    chelsey was so disappointing

by lollyd on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

I have been a big fan for years, Ive read her books and watched her late night show. watching her was such a disappointment. she used material from her books, all stories I already knew, she referred to a sheet of paper for topics, and just seemed a little "out of it?" however, Fortune was great I would love to see her again, I wouldn't recommend seeing chelsey live.

    Very disappointing

by Fridlot on 2013-08-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

I was so excited to go to this event and paid a lot for the tickets. I was so disappointed by her performance. It was like she didn't care and just wanted it to be over. Her material was old and not funny. Her bit on comstipation was unfunny and went on way too long. I dot want to know this about you Chelsea.
