Childish Gambino is the stage name of Donald Glover, a rapper, actor, writer, producer and multi-hyphenate from Stone Mountain, Georgia. The DeKalb County native self-released a number of mixtapes from 2008 to 2010 before starring in the NBC comedy Community for five seasons. While appearing as Troy Barnes in the cult comedy series, the rapper dropped his debut album, Camp, in 2011. He followed that LP in 2013 with his sophomore effort Because the Internet and earned his first Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Record of the Year for his 2013 studio set Awaken, My Love! and its single “Redbone,” respectively. In 2018, Glover unveiled his politically charged single “This Is America.” The track went viral thanks to its cinematic music video, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and winning the artist four Grammys including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video and Best Rap/Sung Performance. In 2020, Glover surprise-released his fourth album 3.15.20 on his website, where it played on loop for just 12 hours. It was officially released a week later. He plans to drop two albums (his final two as Childish Gambino) — Atavista and Bando Stone & the New World — throughout 2024 ahead of The New World Tour.

Childish Gambino put on a legendary performance in my hometown this past weekend. Amazing stage design, light effects, vocal ability and crowd involvement. My wife and I had a blast. Thank you Scotiabank Arena for hosting and thank you Mr Donald Glover for making my ticket price worth it.
Visuals were cool, Donald did an amazing job, and it felt like he really wanted to be there.
Genuinely the best concert experience I have ever had in my life and it’s not even close. The production value was unlike anything I’ve ever seen and Childish Gambino’s energy and skill as a performer is unmatched. Once in a lifetime, unforgettable event.

Really big ticket high energy concert! The spooky alien spacesuit was cool. New album is incredible. He creates genre blended groove that soothes and satisfies the soul. Wish there were more Merch kiosks or easier way to purchase.
I first want to give thanks and praise to those who people may not necessarily remember but absolutely make the show. The stage hands, the AV team the builders of the set yall were phenomenal. The sets were minimal and beautiful. Willow was amazing and absolutely grounding. My soul felt vibrant after her set. The staff at Scotiabank i wish they were a little bit more accomodating. One person had us walk around the entire venue when i couldve gone literally 100 steps to my left and been at the same gate. Childish gambino was amazing. The lights made me a little nervous because i am sensitive to flashing lights but had a good time. The audience gave it their all and even though we were in what i would consider nosebleeds you could see him crystal clear. I enjoyed the set list he had and the merch was OK. I am not sure if they had vinyl and ran out before they hit toronto but some stuff was limited. Anyways for me it was a once in a lifetime experience as i have been following Donald Glover since his stand up and voice acting miles morales. My daughters caught on once they were old enough to watch community and i would recommend to go if you can make it to his show before the tour is over.
I know that the tickets are pricy but the level of entertainment and great artistry that Childish Gambino showed was worth the price tag. Best show I have seen. Don’t miss it!
From the set to the stage presence to the lights, it was the craziest experience ever.
Some staff were a bit rude to myself and my date but most were lovely. the concert itself was just incredible
BEST CONCERT IVE EVER BEEN TO, the visuals were AMAZING, the energy was amazing, just everything and everything about him was perfect. The only complaint I had was I got the side view and could not see him on the screen besides his left arm, I could see him perfectly fine on stage but wish I could’ve also seen him on screen. I also wish he played World Star but it’s okay he played Telegraph Ave :)

Minus the confusion if signage as to getting to elevators to get to the 3rd level, Donald’s performance was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! He really meant what he said this is for the fans Would love to relive it again Thanks for a great night Donald Glover

OMG!!! I can't say enough!! The music! The lasers! The artist!! The energy!! This may be the best concert I have ever been to, and I go to lots! It was perfection. I smiled the whole way through and am still smiling days after. He could've played for another 2 hours and it still wouldn't have been enough.

One of the best if not THE best shows i’ve been too. Gambino really knows how to put on a performance and his voice was spectacular, the energy from everyone was insane. If he was doing one again I would 100% go.
Easily one of the best concerts I’ve been to. You have to see him live before he retires. The production is unmatched and his stage presence is insane. Buy the ticket, even if you’re debating it.
the true definition of an artist the music is already indescribable but all of the details of the show the lights the production the costumes the dancing the vocals the setlist and just everything was insane. donald took us to a different world and i really appreciate the way his mind works. also shoutout to the crowd in toronto you guys delivered the energy we needed
