I’ve seen numerous comedians including Martin Lawrence,Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart Chris Tucker and now Chris rock. He absolutely killed it! I laughed from the beginning till the end! He does not disappoint. I hope he comes to Toronto again.

    Disappointed

by Kimk on 2022-06-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Definitely not the show we were expecting. Not really funny at all. More talking then actual jokes. Just overall not a good show. Nothing special about it. Fell asleep a few times.

Had a blast at the show! Chris was incredible! Must have been on stage for at least and hour and a half and didn’t even take a sip of water- never sat down. Just delivered pure comedy genius the entire time he was on stage! Loved the man that opened for him, but for the life of me can’t find out his name! Please help! Xo

Chris is one of the Best!

by Jessa Peach on 2022-06-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The show was outstanding! Open act was amazing (I would see him in concert as well). Chris is able to talk about serious topics including race, abortion, and politics while putting a light touch and funny spin on it. Everyone must see Chris once!

    Operations needs improvement!

by Noël on 2022-06-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Since we had to lock our phones away in the security device the line up took over 30 mins to get through once arrived. I missed the opener and got in just in time to see Chris Rock. Luckily we were seated in a top section near the bar so we could exit immediately before thousands of others. Conplete Mayhem. Chris Rock was hilarious.

    Delays, phone lockups, and Politics

    by Caesar’s Palace on 2022-05-08

The last three things I want a comedian to talk about is Hilary, Trump, and Insurrection. Unfortunately these were well covered by Rock, and it annoyed everyone. Show started an hour late, and no one could pass the time on their cherished devices as they were in magnetic lock pouches. This show was not worth the effort of pirating. Opening insult comic act however got big laughs, and stole the show

    Shockingly disappointing

by Tat1 on 2017-11-14Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Let me start by saying that I am not one who gets easily offended and I generally LOVE Chris Rock. I have always found him to be intelligent and insightful (as good comedians generally have to be in order to be truly funny). He is known to be quite profane which I find hilarious as his profanity is usually backed by smart humour. But this time the only thing that backed his profanity was anger. Intellectually, I can understand his anger at living in the United States as a black man, especially under the current administration. But he simply was not funny. Telling his audience that black parents should punch their kids in the face in order to prepare them to live in the world with 'whitey' was simply not funny. And it was offensive enough for some to be escorted out by security for shouting "for shame" (and these were people who must have paid good money given they were in floor seating). Saying he doesn't hire women because they cry rape for money is not only not funny, it's outrageous. I don't know what's happened to him but I won't be paying again to find out.

    Chris Rock's

by Hard2Please on 2017-11-14Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Chris was on stage for close to 2 hours non stop and not even taking a sip of water. I liked the fact that he covered a lot of topics including his divorce. I also liked the fact that while he used the F bomb a view times it seem to fit into his act. I would definitely see him again. As for the opening act I thought the first guy was very good. But didn't care for the 2nd guy

Not funny, aggravating to enter the venue and deal with the cell phone rules. Just stay home and watch Netflix.

    Funny as hell!

by TBone74 on 2017-11-14Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Show was great. He touched a lot of different subjects. He was very open and honest about his own life, and was making fun of himself and making us laugh at the same time. I would see him again.

    Rocked the house

by Anonymous on 2017-09-21UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

I came into the building with extremely high expectations and Chris Rock definitely delivered. The show was great from start to finish, it was clear to see that he was in his element and I was happy that he used all his new material. See this man for his legendary ability to touch on taboo topics and somehow turn them into picture perfect punchlines.

    Chris Rock Rocked!

by joleneshmo on 2017-09-18UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

Absolutely enjoyed the show. Chris Rock Rocked and the opening acts were awesome as well. One negative thing about the venue is the sound echoed. The first comedian came out and his delivery was so fast it was very difficult to understand as you could hear it twice with the echoe in this arena. This problem continued with the remaining acts but their delivery is much slower so easier to focus in on what they were saying. The sound issue was a pretty big negative for me but I really enjoyed all the comedians.
