By age 20 he was a regular performer on the Def Comedy Jam, and in 1995 he got his breakout film role in the stoner comedy Friday starring alongside rapper Ice Cube. FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Chris Tucker was too funny. I would recommend that everyone go and see his show. He had me in stitches. It's such an excellent show. "
"Chris Tucker was everything we hoped he'd be. He told a lot of personal stories - my favorite being his advice from his Grandpa on marriage. He then showed his singing skills with some more interesting tales. He is just as animated in real life as he is on film."
"My husband and I laughed the entire show. He did great impersonations and did the entire show without using a ton of vulgar language. This man has class and style. A true professional entertainer."
Awesome Show. Sound system could be better, but otherwise it was great
He did really Good impressions. He talked too much about how much money he has made which is kind of annoying. Because he talks fast I missed a few things but that is him. He could do a whole show on Michael Jackson and I would love it! Over all I had a great time!
Awesome! doesn't need Jackie Chan with him to be funny, he can hold his own!
Wonderful show! Catch him if he is in your area, great night, no disappointments, lots of laughs!!
My husband and I had seen some reviews before seeing the show and have no clue what they were talking about! Chris was definitely funny and we enjoyed every minute! The warm-up comedian was quite good too...but Chris was better! Would definitely recommend this show!
So good, he's definitely still got it! His opener Terry Hodges was amazing too. Both had us laughing the entire show....no dull moments.
Loved Chris Tucker in all the Rush Hour movies so I had a high expectation of him bringing out some good material. Terry Hodges was the opening act and I found him to be absolutely hilarious. He interacted with the audience and had personable jokes to tell. He obviously set the bar high for Chris. What I didn't like about Chris's performance was that it was all news about celebrities which I didn't enjoy as much as Terry's performance. The downside about cracking jokes about news is that not everyone is going to be on the same page. Not everyone is going to know what you are joking about. In Terry's case, he made jokes about everyday life or joked about people in the audience which people could catch on easily. Bottom line, I found it very hard to be amused by the jokes that Chris had since I didn't know about half the things he talked about or I just did not find them that funny.
Hilarious, it was a great show. Chris Tucker is still the man!
The show was amazingly funny Chris Tucker is one of the best comedians in the world.
Chris Tucker didn't disappoint! I would go see him again and again he is soooo funny!
I bought the tickets for my hubby for Father's Day. He loved the show and so did I. I loved the orpheum theatre as well!
Chris Tucker's impressions are amazing. Especially his MJ singing and dancing.
The show was very funny, Chris Tucker was outstanding. I wasn't thrilled with the Orpheum, there were several spots where I couldn't hear what was being said. The sound was muffled at some points during the show. I felt like the show was a little too short.
Chris was very classy in his performance , energetic , respectful act , which his gentleman humour was very nice to enjoy. Some cursing but without a lot of swearing . Finally ... It's nice to see great celebrities come to Windsor and entertain us . Great !!! Job Chris Tucker hope to see more of you . :)
Was not happy with the show.Spent a lot of money and it just was not funny! Would never go see him again.
His opening act was hilarious ! Loved Chris Tucker too, he started out with a bang butbkind of fizzled by the end.
After reading several reviews regarding Chris Tucker's show, I decided to surprise my husband for his Birthday and get tickets. Perhaps we expected too much, but we honestly didn't feel like it was that great of a show. His Michael Jackson routine was good and he really did that one very well. The comedian seemed to look to his past accomplishments a little too much to gain applause.....
What a great talent all the way around. His mannerism is very funny! Facial expressions, priceless.
The warm up guy was alot funnier than Chris Tucker. Left early, not funny.
Chris Rock was very disappointing. Comedian that was on before him was very good. Made sure I had a good ticket for this event as I was looking forward to seeing Chris Rock. Waste of money. Not very funny at all.
