  • Wonderful athletic capabilities of the performers!

Just loved to see the near-impossible acrobatic abilities of the performers. Did NOT like how LOUD the music was....it was ear-deafening!!! My ears were ringing for days afterwards. That was NOT necessary at all, in fact some people left, especially those with young children with sensitive ears. Also, the lewd actions of the main character were also a bit much for a family-oriented show.

  • Really great!!

We really enjoyed the show. I would advise reading up on the story before going so it`s more understandable.

It was a great show. Entertaining for all audiences. Incredible artists that displayed amazing skill and precision in routines/styles that are not commonly seen.

My husband and I are enthusiastic fans of the Cirque de Soleil having first seen Allegria in their big blue tent in 1995. It was amazing and made us believe in magic as have all their other shows we saw. The tent was a special place and even the cheap seats had a great view of the performers, the stage and whirlwind of action that is a great Cirque show. We went whenever we could and recommended it to anyone who would listen. That changed with Verakai at the Air Canada Centre. The experience was awful. We were mid height in the lower bowl (yes they sold the upper bowl too!) You could not see the show or performers well and it felt like watching a poorly designed 1990s video game. There was no depth and intensity to the show and the theme of the performance which had been integral in other Cirque shows was invisible or simply not there at all. In addition I think elements of the "typical" Cirque performance were eliminated. This was a terrible venue for the show and a stain on the Cirque's reputation.

great show.....costume and acrobatic skills. if you want to purchase souvenirs, best to purchase before the show or at intermission as the venue vacate the building right after the show is finished

I loved every minute of this show. The opening was very funny and the performers are world class entertainers. I found myself with my mouth open in amazement through the entire show.

Saw this show on Friday September 4th at the ACC in Toronto. We've seen this type of show before in Las Vegas, so were eager to get tickets this time around. The costumes were very colourful, the performers were all very good. However, I was not as impressed with this show as I was with KA in Vegas. Think part of this was just due to the stage and all of the items used in their performance....meaning, this one was a travelling show/stage and so they can't have everything at hand as they could say at a permanent stage such as the one in Vegas. Also, I was not that big into their attempt at humour with a custodian & helper show in the beginning, middle and end. It was just too much and an obvious set up to allow for the performers to change/take a breather, etc....There was not as much acrobats going on as there was in Vegas, which is really what I am interested in. Don't get me wrong, the show was good, I would recommend going to see it, but just note it is a different set up than say that of their permanent shows/stages/performers.

  • Such Talent!

This is my fourth time attending a Cirque show and we always enjoy it. Perhaps we are abit too spoiled with the calibre we have witnessed prior and feel this particular show fell abit under the "wow" factor. Skilled, beautiful and creative is always top notch but the WOW just wasn't there this time. I will be searching for reviews for next shows.
