Worst show Ive ever been to. Walked out and felt ripped off! Totally unprofessional production. Not wirth one star review.
My husband and I were very excited to take our 5 year old son to this holiday show, unfortunately we were very let down on the quality of the show. Felt very amateur, story line was very vague and boring, and over all organization of the show wasn’t great. The magic portions of the show were very long and drawn out and hard to really see or hear for anyone who wasn’t in the front row. At one point the lights when out and took a few minutes to turn on and when they did there was a spot light pointing right at eye level to the stands, was so bright we could barely see the performer, then was turned off after a little bit so it clearly wasn’t even supposed to be on. Before we bought the tickets we visited the website and watched the promo video which looked very exciting with great talent. Unfortunately this show was not spectacular aside from a few of the performers who were very talented. Half way through the second act my son was so bored he asked so leave so we decided to leave the show early.
I have been to a lot of different performances but never have witnessed such a debacle as what we witnessed here. Having been advertised the way it was, the audience was expecting at the very least, a monocle of professionalism, which this certainly did not provide. This was not a performance but more of watching the performers be roadies in setting up the stage, and do all of their own work, in front of the audience no less. I watched a lot of people get up and leave during their so called "acts". Someone did not do their homework when allowing such a bad group try and do something they were not capable of. Not even worth one star.
Really amateur for the price, hard to see, hard to hear and I understand why many unsold seats sadly..
Not a cirque show…surprised they put their name on it. If this was someone’s first cirque show it would probably be their last.
This was probably one of the worst shows I’ve ever seen. The show was not even remotely similar to the online trailer! The acts they did have went way over time with the same movements etc. the sound was terrible for those not directly in front of the stage. The magician acts were faulty and certainly did not hold children Attention. Don’t waste your money !!! Very disappointing!!
The sound was waaay low - could hardly hear the actors. The lighting was horrific; it was like they had a child controlling the spotlight. Also, all the stairway lighting was left on (maybe for safety) BUT was waaay too bright that it ruined the experience of the show; so bright you had to squint to see the stage.
The performers were talented and this is not meant to take that away from them, however it was boring. Often there was only one person on stage. No stage set to speak of, the spot light operator was all over the place, recordings were at times off cue. Just generally not great. Had to apologize to my mom for bringing her to this as her Christmas present…
It is advertised as a show with laser show, holograms acrobats etc. The performers were very good and demonstrated their skill of high level. It was all there but nothing spectacular about it to be so expensive.
Had a little technical difficulty, was overcharged, the stage was thrown together, the acts were good, the trampoline act was great, the main funny guy was awesome. Would not go again though.
Was very disappointed, it was not "cirque" at all and tickets were far too high priced for what ended up to be more of a kids magic show.
The show was great! Would have been awesome if there would have been big screen display for the ones sitting a little higher. Didn't get to see all of it. It was entertaining, funny, and the tricks were insane. Would recommend.
I have been to at least 12 shows with Cirque. Sadly if this was the first one I expected, I would never go back. I brought a. Friend who has never seen a cirque show so this. Was his first. He was so disappointed as well.
I feel bad because I absolutely love every other Cirque de Soleil show I’ve been too - but this seemed disjointed, sloppy and though some of the acts were really good, the show itself wasn’t much to watch. It felt like there was no stage manager keeping things going between acts. There were a lot of dark and quiet periods between acts. They did some close up magic but didn’t have a screen - so only the front row could see it. There was also a lot of talking/acting - and my kids would ask when the show would keep going! It was a very small show. I feel like it was just a cute, low budget kids Christmas show and doesn’t deserve the Cirque name.
The venue was not good for the show, I found the quality of the show rather poor for the price paid, meaning it was like a show a high school performance. It was challenging to hear, and see the entertainment on the stage, very dissatisfied for sure.
The show was ok. I didn’t love that it ended on a “sad” note. With the elf sad and lonely on a bench it actually took me a moment to understand what was going on. The elf was upbeat and funny throughout—I was waiting for the “funny” The talent was impressive tho. Enjoyed a night out. Thanks
It seemed very unrehearsed. It was slow moving, the sound wasn’t great and they kept using the same few songs. We were expecting more Vegas flare but unfortunately it was not. They should have had a crew to dismantle everything instead of taking time out of the show to do it. The performers should have worked together to do a routine rather than by themselves. In the end my 7 year old enjoyed himself do that’s all that matters.
Computer issues stopped lighting, there was no stage props nor c was there any story.
5 star for the man who could hold himself on two fingers. 5 stars for the lady who could turn herself into a pretzel. The rest 2 star Being I have seen circus Olay this was a huge disappointment. Except for the 5 stars talent I mentioned above
