I love seeing Colin in this quint setting, it's more personal. He played a few songs from his new CD which I just bought and they will be hits. He's always a pleasure to see and he really enjoys playing for his fans. A true Canadian gem.
- At times the sound system was disappointing. However the band and Colin certainly played very well. - His veteran songs keeps getting better and better. - The new stuff sounds better live that on the album, could be the added instruments. - We have seen Colin 12 times in Calgary over the years. Always excellent entertainment, but I did get a sense from his comment that he could be a bit burnt out. - Chris, the new guy was very cool.
I finally got ot see Colin James & it was worth it! The smaller venue was the best. Always good when up close & personal. The 2hours he played was awsome start to finish & I'm know he had lots more he could of played but we had to let him go! Will go to see him again
Colin James was fantastic, he could have played for a couple of more hours and still not run out of great songs. As usual there was probably about 10 songs that I wished he would have played.
Great show, amazing talent...really enjoyed it! So many guitars...such different sounds and played effortlessly
What an unbelievable talent! We both love Colin James and we have all of his music. However nothing could have prepared us for the live version. He is immensely talented. You can never be sure about how someone will sound live but with Colin we were both blown away by his incredible musical prowess. We would go see him again in a heartbeat.

Colin James was really great. I have a new appreciation for him and his music. He plays an amazing guitar, and each time that he changes guitars,which he did with just about every song, the sound is so unique! Really, really enjoyed the show!
Colin James was born to play live music. His albums are good, but his live music far surpasses any studio recording. Of all the live acts I have seen, he ranks amongst the very best. I try to see him anytime he comes to Calgary. I have seen him 6 times so far, and I have never been disappointed. I will definitely spend the money to see him the next time he comes to town.
I can't believe I haven't made an effort to see him "again" sooner! The last time I saw Colin was on stage in the Stadium during The Red River Ex - back in the day when the fair was still at the Stadium grounds!! Too long for sure!
Colin James' concert was amazing. He is such a talented man that he can do it alone, as he demonstrated in his solo with the acoutic guitar. Very personable, excellent interaction with the audience and great music selection. Especially loved, "Into the Mystic". Superior Canadian talent.
amazing show we all left happy! so glad I was in town & didn't miss it. Colin is at ease in all genres of his music and blends them well into the show. I lost track of how many guitars he played!
Colin James show was very good. Good mix of new and older tunes. Volume seemed higher during the later half of the show, at the detriment of sound quality. The odd (audio) feedback was seemingly distracting to Colin James at one point during the show...

From the first time he strumed his guitar I had a feeling that it was going to be an amazing, incredible show. Man, was I happy. My ears, my heart was so happy to experience such a musician as him. The playlist kept the audience entertained the whole way thru. He didn't wait till the end to play his old hits. He salt and peppered everything together to keep us wanting more. He deliviered. Wow did he deliver!!! Thank you for a wonderful show. That was definately in my top five shows ever!!!
I have seen him play so many times and he was really good again last night. He plays so effortlessly. The sound could have been a bit better but I highly recommend seeing him in any sort of venue as he is amazing to watch.
Except for a couple of sound glitches the concert was amazing. He played all the favourites and the new stuff is good.
No glitz, just honestly great live music. Every musician on stage was worthy of applause, which was repeatedly heard from the audience. Bravo!
Best yet, I have seen Colin perform a few times, he and his band have made it. They are true rock and rollers and brought the house to its knees last night. Colin James to me has become a legend in his own time. From playing with Big Dave at the small clubs to last knights show proves he is a contender at any level. Best rock and roll show I have seen in a long time. A true performer, I will tell everyone that was not there to be first in line when Colin returns.
