Collective Soul rose to prominence in the mid-’90s with 1993’s Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid. The album featured the hit single “Shine” and took Collective Soul from college radio to heavy rotation on MTV. By the end of 1995, the band (led by singer-songwriter Ed Roland) had toured with Aerosmith and Van Halen and performed “Shine” in front of thousands of fans at Woodstock ‘94. Their triple-platinum follow-up, Collective Soul (1995), included "December," "The World I Know" and "Where the River Flows," all No. 1 songs on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Collective Soul would continue achieving career milestones well into the 2000s and 2010s, including a duet with Elton John (“Perfect Day”) and nine additional studio albums.

My favorite band in the late 90's was Collective Soul. So, needless to say, I was excited. Well, what a huge disappointment. We walked out after the first hour. The sound was absolutely terrible! We couldn't even hear the vocals. Ick!
I went expecting a good show, but this was incredible! Excellent sound, great lights and ALL the hits you could expect. These guys are a class act!!!!! Love the new disc too!
sound exactly like they do on the CD, no lip syncing and you can tell they are really loving being there and playing for you
Ive seen Collective Soul at the RIver Cree Casino three times. The first time they had a large standing area in front of the stage, where probably half the audience watched from. The last two times there has been no standing room and you must stay scrunched in your tiny seat. Collective Soul is always awesome, but Im not sure if I will go back to see them at the River Cree. I may wait to see them at a different venue.
it was really good!! great stage performance, and the singing was amazing, they sounded great. played all of their hits and made it a very enjoyable night.
Collective Soul is a band I just started listening to a while back, and am really liking them. This is actually the first bigger name concert I've been to, and I'd have to say the best. The volume levels for the most part were well managed, I thought the vocals could have been slightly louder, as they were occasionally drowned out, but at least it wasn't as painfully loud as most concerts. I don't like it when I think the music sounds like an old router with squealing bearings cutting through metal...lol This was just pleasant to listen to and I enjoyed it a lot. I think everyone else did too, the fans were going wild and singing along to songs and it was quite the experience. Check it out!
I thought the show was excellent! They definitely did not disappoint. They were truly professional and their sound was unbelievable! I just wish it were a little longer! Otherwise a great night!
They put on a fantastic show. Even with no opening act! All their hits played, and the fantastic new album.
The question is ...Is it worth it to see a great band in a lousy venue.... the answer YES!. The River Cree casino is a 1700 person room with the acoustics of a , of a .... well a beer tent because it is a beer tent. The band was great but the sound was lousy and I would do it over again.
Last night's show by Collective Soul at the River Cree Casino was high energy & high quality entertainment. The only down side was the poor sound quality that the venue being a tent provides, but the band soon made you forget about that by losing yourself in the music. I hope they return soon.
a great bunch of musicians!!loved the audience involvment..the sound could of been somewhat better although where they played wasnt the best,,,but they played awesome and i would go again in a heartbeat!!
What a great concert. Excellent show. Would go again.
They put on a really good show. They sounded amazing live. They put forth a great effort to entertain.
I really enjoyed this however Prairie Land is not the best place for sound. Issue for me is the lid on the bottle of water...it is best to have someone bump into you and get you all wet and ticked than having a lid on the bottle. I know the reason why no lids but that does not mean I like it. Both my husband and I had fun. We both like the cabaret style events.
Money well spent.Would go&see them again.Anyone that is a fan of Collective Soul should go to their concert!!
Sooooo good!! it was a concert where you didnt want it to end! But since it did, it makes you want to go again!! Simply mind blowing!
This is the third time I have seem Collective Soul and they never disappoint!
UNBELIEVABLE AND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, COLLECTIVE SOUL STILL SHOWS IT HAS INCREDIBLE TALENT AND PERFORMANCE. EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS DEDICATED FANS GET WHAT THEY COME FOR AND MORE. SANG FOR 2 HOURS AND PLAYED PRESENT AND PAST HITS. FOR THE NEW GENERATION OF FANS THEY GET MORE THAN WHAT THEY CAME FOR AND A TRUE APPRECIATION FOR REAL TALENTED MUSICIANS. KEEP IT COMING.
It was pretty awesome.. The first few songs I couldn't understand what he was singing but after they fixed it, it was awesome. I found that he played with the mic pole too much, but it was something intersting to look at in the venue. They sounded awesome. He was a good entertainer. I think he took too long to try and get the crowd going.. the end was better.. if he had done that sort of stuff earlier (e.g, getting the crowd to sing) it would've created a more of a party atmosphere.
