Was a wonderful show. Enjoyed every minute! Girl singers had such beautiful voices, and I didn't realize Mr Wilkinson was so funny. Thanks for bringing him to Hamilton
This was a wonderful show. I've been a Colm Wilkinson fan for years. He did not disappoint.
My husband and I have seen Colm Wilkinson on several occasions...we are constantly amazed. His singing takes your breath away. We will continue to see Colm whenever he is close by...Hamilton, Toronto...etc.
The show was great! Would have loved more music from broadway, but still really enjoyed the show!
Colm Wilkinson is an extremely versatile vocalist. Having not seen one of his performances previously, we were thoroughly entertained. Would definitely go again if he appears in our area.
A wonderful night of music! The band was great, the sound was great and Colm Wilkinson was outstanding! He was entertaining in everyway! Humourous and sincere. His voice is as rich and mellow as it was 30 years ago!
Colm was very good, I was not aware he was so diverse with different types of instruments, songs and style. Will go again for sure.
The show was great, his voice is out of this world. I will never attend the Hamilton Place again though. It is the only place I have seen a performance where there was not a middle aisle to enter a row of seats. At Hamilton Place you have to get 20 or more people up to get into you seat. This is way behind times.
From the parking and walking into the theatre, to our seats, to the fabulous concert to a fairly easy exit, you couldn't ask for a nicer evening. The concert was fabulous and Colm Wilkenson certainly didn't dissapoint. His choice of music was excellent from his opening "Music of the Night" to his encore finale from Les Miseraable, Bring Him Home., he had us laughing, singing along with him and I must say his rendition of Silent Night was one of the finest I have ever heard. His band was excellent and the only weakness of the night were the two female singers. As back-up singers, they were fine but as soloists, they left something to be desired. He still has "it" and I wouild recommend to anyone who wants to be entertained by a giant in the industry to go.
The most incredible show. I laughed, I cried, I smiled and loved every minute of this very intimate show. I will see Colm every time he performs...it's an experience that escapes words.
Very entertaining did all of his songs that he is known for.
The artist was phenomenal, and the acoustics were terrific from my seat in Row O, Orchestra. The only negative aspect was the lack of CDs available for sale, which Mr. Wilkinson had signed. I was very disappointed.
He was phenomenal! I only wish it could have gone on longer!!
Wow. Mr. Wilkinson's talent is outstanding. He performed not only his broadway staples from Phantom and Les Mis, ( and another great from Jeckyl and Hyde) but songs from other genres, other artists and his own. My concert partner arrived having never heard of Colm (as if that were possible) but left a fan. Thank you thank you thank you and please don't wait 5 more years before coming back.... Calgary loves you!
I had only experienced Colm Wilkinson when I seen him as the Phantom for Phantom of the Opera and fell in love with him then, such a haunting voice. Was not sure what to expect from this event but was very pleasantly surprised. The Venue first is a very sweet intimate atmosphere, nice seating and wonderful acoustics. Then Colm, he did start the evening with the signature piece from Phantom but then entertained us with renditions of Jonny Cash, The Bee Gee’s, The Beatles, and oh so many more. He is a consummate host chatting here and there with story tails and jokes. He is a true pleasure and I highly recommend the event.
Such a terrific show - wonderful new songs. A great band! Colm is so warm & his voice is remarkable!!
This was the 5th time we saw Colm Wilkinson and he was amazing as always. He does broadway hits, some rock n' roll, Irish classics, Ray Charles and a few of his own...and the two ladies he's added to the show were also a hit. Susan Gilmour's voice is just incredible. If you appreciate music and pure talent, it's definitely worth seeing him. Such a fun and interactive show as well...never a dull moment. Colm - you rock!! (and have a voice like an angel)
