Fabulous atmosphere. Amazing to watch live. Ended up buying tickets to the final on Sunday.
I would like to see higher quality for up coming soccer teams; Barca,Man. United
What a fantastic family event! Great value for money too! Im not sure if I missed any sort of advertising for this event, but I feel it was not promoted enough. Other than that, it was a great event.
Loved seeing Cristine Sinclair and all the rest of the hardworking national women's soccer team play sitting right up front! Looking forward to seeing them in their next game as they work hard to qualify for the Olympics!
Very enjoyable and good value.....need more support for the ladies team! Where are all the European soccer fans? Good luck to our Canadian girls and cheers for all those other participating teams, some come under real life struggles!
The soccer crowd is just amazing! Lots of funny songs in support of the Canadian Women's Team! Bought one of the cheaper seats, and had an absolute blast! Fantastic value for the entertainment you get!!!!
Love supporting woman's sport. It was an awesome double header. Great football aka soccer.
We went to both games, first Costa Rica vs Haiti and then Canada vs Cuba. They were both entertaining and well played games. I've never been to a girls soccer match at this caliber and I was very pleased.
Affordable event prices and excellent parking options
Fabulous. Very family friendly. Love the energy of the crowd.
We have three kids in soccer and this event was really great for all with some great country pride tossed in! These girls know how to play soccer - great inspiration to the up and coming great female athletes - and if you get there when Canada's playing make sure you bring your flags, hats and banners - felt like when we hosted the olympics all over again - you can tell the Canadian spirit is not leaving Vancouver! Great value for a fun sport outing!!!
A very good location in the new BC Place Stadium. Many families present with their children. Children representing various youth soccer teams in attendance. This made for a great atmosphere with an abundance of signage and great cheering from sections of the audience. The only drawback was the overall lack of attendance at this event. Vancouver needs to support women's soccer. I feel there should be a better turnout to the semi final and final matches. Where does one get to see such elite players at such affordable prices?
It was a good experience. In the future I could be buying a better location
Canada vs Cuba game was a great family event. Lots of energy from the crowd and wonderful to see so many girls from local soccer clubs out to support the team. The 2 goals by Canada (one by free goal kick and the second a cross kick and then head shot) were both crowd pleasers. I was really impressed by the players from Cuba coming out on the field and clapping for the spectators after the game - a sign of true sportsmanship! If you have a chance to go to a game this week - you should check it out.
I paid 25 dlls for each sit and i got first line tickets, but the problem was that a guy with a big camera was in front of us blocking the field. I should have bought the cheapest tickets instead of this ones, very disappointing.
Great game for Canada and for Christine Sinclair.... but not alot of opposition from poor Haiti. The individual skills, fitness, and team play from Canada were head and shoulders above what Haiti could muster. A great start to the tournament for Canada, hope they can keep it up and build to the critical semi-final game, likely against Mexico - that will be a cracker of a game, I'm sure.
Great to see the Canadian women play so well! Very disappointed with the huge line-ups to get a drink either before the game or during half time. There were only 2 or 3 concessions open!!!
The game was great, both teams played well, and no offense to the Haiti team, I'm glad Canada won. Both teams played fairly, and the calls by the Refs seem to be fair as well. I'm missing the game on Saturday, but I'm hoping to catch another game next week. Go Canada GO!
While the event was excellent, great game good helpful overall staff it was ridiculous that there was only 1, yes one, concession location open for more than 7,000 people. And then the secondary food (steveston fish and chips) was also the beer lineup. I went for food 3 times but the lineups were so long it was not possible to get anything to eat without missing a substantial portion of the game.
