Edmonton Stingers History
The Edmonton Stingers are two-time champions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The Stingers competed in the CEBL’s inaugural 2019 season, finishing in second place before falling in the postseason semifinals. However, redemption was close behind as the Stingers secured their first CEBL Championship in 2020, then repeated the feat in 2021, becoming the league’s first back-to-back title winners. Both runs followed dominant regular season performances, in which the Stingers topped the league and set the CEBL’s all-time highest regular season winning percentage (.929) with a 13-1 record in 2021. The Edmonton Stingers organization has accrued multiple accolades, including 10 All-CEBL selections, three MVPs and two Coach of the Year Awards.

Edmonton Stingers at Edmonton EXPO Centre
The Edmonton Stingers have competed in The Flair Airlines Hangar at the Edmonton EXPO Centre since their inaugural 2019 season. The 4,628-seat arena sits within the larger Edmonton EXPO Centre complex, which is located in the City of Edmonton’s Montrose neighborhood. The venue opened in 1984 and has hosted many conferences, exhibitions and hockey matches over the years. The Edmonton EXPO Centre hosted the 2021 CEBL Championship, where the Stingers won on their home court.

Great basketball game but way too much music playing during the game. Hard to concentrate on the game - played the game all my life so the music is strange. I wonder what people would think of music booming during a hockey game.
Me and my kids have been to a A few games this year and won last year the entertainment just gets better and better! Great price on snacks and even merchandise will return in the future. Harley skilled athletes great basketball to watch
Stingers games are fast paced, lively, entertaining and energetic, all while being affordable for the average family. We had so much fun we ended up buying season tickets for next year!
My wife and I had so much fun at the Stingers game, it's great value for the money. Concession are very competitively priced. It's a good vibe, we'll be back.

Never cared for basketball before, but…We went to a game in May and we haven’t missed a home games since!! What a great show. Definitely will get season tickets for next year. One thing though, there could be a more elaborate choice of merch and availability in sizes up to 3XL.
It was easy to believe in the first half that the Stingers would win. However, the Sea Bears came alive in the second half and it became a nail biter of a game. I didn’t mind but still wanted a win. The building was electric.
The game blew me away not being a big basketball guy prices for food felt like a Time Machine to when watching live sports was reasonable. The game was fun exciting and the atmosphere was fun. A Must try event
Sat in lower bowl but people stood up behind the last row talking constantly and not about the game, drinking and eating above my head. They have seats…unless they are walking somewhere they should not be standing around the railing. Also a constant up and down of people walking the stairs. I certainly will never buy the lower section of seats again. Other than that…everything is great there!
I attended the Stingers game vs Calgary with family members. Although the Stingers played very poorly, we enjoyed the game and the overall experience.
