Corb Lund Tickets

Travelling from the UK to Calgary for the stampede. Bought tickets to a couple of events including this one for Corb Lund. The tickets for two people cost £286. The event was taking place in the Roadhouse venue on the stapede site. We met some people local to Canada who had only paid £90 each. We arrived, to hopefully, enjoy the other acts taking part in this event before the main event, Corb Lnd and we were really looking forward to it. However, there was not a seat to be had within the venue. We found ourselves at the very back and the view of the stage seemed miles away. We decided we were too uncomfortable and could not remain standing for the whole event and took the decision to leave before Corb Lund took to the stage. This was not an easy decision to make but we were so uncomfortable within the venue, we had no choice. We travelled from Scotland on our holiday beginning in Calgary. When I think of the good times we had elsewhere in Canada, I just remember the feeling of being swindled for the Corb Lund tickets through ticketmaster and the awful venue . To pay £286 is bad enough but to discover that people had paid £180 for the same two tickets was most upsetting.

Corb Lund is amazing! He is such an awesome and energetic performer. And a great statesman as well. He invited legend Ian Tyson up with him, and it was awesome. As well too many favourite songs including Family Reunion. Especially since our family reunion is coming up in July! And he really should come to ours. I’d see Corb Lund, again, and again. Thanks Corb!!

Wanted to see Corb Blund, and when I heard he was playing with Ian Tyson, I got a ticket for my mother who was excited to see Ian. Happy to introduce Corb’s music to my mom and enjoy a great duo together!

The interaction between both performers on the stage at the same time was great.

This show was incredible. Considering that Ian Tyson is 84 years old, the man is still an unbelievable musician and is absolutely hilarious. The chemistry between him and Corb awesome, and even the songs I didn't know, I thoroughly enjoyed. I cannot recommend seeing this show enough - a treat for all ages!

This concert was a sold out event, if you were not able to get tickets - you missed out big time! The songs, quotes, interaction was amazing! Just to think there was only 2 other instruments besides Corb and Ian! No fancy equipment, no fancy back-up band - just good singing! I applaud Corb for being there for Ian - without you Corb, I really don't think Ian could manage by himself - just a great person for taking care of Ian Songs were outstanding Wonderful performance and great atmosphere and people!

Good concert. We enjoyed seeing Ian Tyson again. His music is amazing. We purchased his new CD. Corb Lund was very entertaining.

Amazing show. Two Alberta great songwriters and singers. Corb was so considerate and gentle with / to Ian. The respect he showed for the elder was heart wrenching. Their voices blended and I felt that Ian has passed the torch to Corb.

A intimate event of a living legend and a man whom is keeping up the tradition. The band comprising of a electric guitar, stand up base and two amazing singers in Corb Lund and Ian Tyson truly played their hearts out. The venue's acoustics where second to none with every note and vocal resonating throughout the crowd. Both singer played their classics. Even with Ian Tyson's voice not being what is once was, continues to shine through and even reinvent itself. A fun time with great music.

Corb and Ian played and shared their feelings the best two cowboys could, from their heart.

It was great to be part of highlights of the young and the old sharing their life and stories with lyrics.

Paid to see Corb Lund, not Ian Tyson. It was an Ian Tyson concert WITH Corb Lund. Brutal. People were pissed at the end of the concert. People beside us left, the girl in front of us, fell asleep, my wife almost fell asleep and I couldn’t stop yawning!

Great concert. Very intimate venue, great seats and Corb and Ian played very well together. So glad we got to take in the event.

I thought the show was very disappointing. Singers lacked stage presence.

4th time I've seen Corb and the 2nd in S'toon. Would go back tomorrow if I could.

Another great evening with Corb Lund. What a treat to hear him play in a venue with great acoustics such as the NAC. I wish more artists would play at the NAC! Loved every minute - please come back soon!

Corn Lund put on an amazing show. I will definitely be going to see him the next time he is in town.
